era il 1979, quando roberto spacone ed io, ci iscrivemmo ad un corso per allievi giudici, organizzato dalla s.a.s sezione di udine, dove partecipavano in qualità di docenti il grande cinologo e presidente della sas centrale dr. walter gorrieri, il sig. verzegnassi, il responsabile del settore addestramento sig. waldammer e tanti altri illustri docenti e discenti e durante i vari corsi, spesso i partecipanti chiedevano il perché di certi comportamenti e/o reazioni dei loro soggetti a determinati stimoli esterni, ed allora il sig. verzegnassi, chiamava in ballo il giovane spacone per le relative spiegazioni di carattere etologico, così come il signor waldammer, dicendo:
