nel 2006, tra gli altri furono presenti al ddrf i testament, reel big fish, saxon, 3 doors down, megadeth e la band di dubai mannikind. e' stato durante la terza edizione, che il csm ha arricchito l'offerta di numerose attrazioni extra, che intrattenessero gli ospiti tra un concerto e l'altro e coprissero l'intero arco della manifestazione, che continuava a crescere anche in termini di durata.
