hos statuerunt ante conspectum apostolorum et orantes inposuerunt eis manu
whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

that ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the lord and saviour:

per manus autem apostolorum fiebant signa et prodigia multa in plebe et erant unianimiter omnes in porticu salomoni
and by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in solomon's porch.
