and their desire

virtutem operum suorum adnuntiabit populo su
he shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

maiorum gloria posteris quasi lumen est.

and the lord spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

iniquitates suae capiunt impium et funibus peccatorum suorum constringitu
his own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

si ager emptus et non de possessione maiorum sanctificatus fuerit domin
and if a man sanctify unto the lord a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

filios quoque merari per familias et domos patrum suorum recensebi

et implebo montes eius occisorum suorum in collibus tuis et in vallibus tuis atque in torrentibus interfecti gladio caden
and i will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

et hoc in omne quod latissimum est provinciarum tuarum divulgetur imperium et cunctae uxores tam maiorum quam minorum deferant maritis sui
and when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.

et erubescet luna et confundetur sol cum regnaverit dominus exercituum in monte sion et in hierusalem et in conspectu senum suorum fuerit glorificatu
then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the lord of hosts shall reign in mount zion, and in jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

praecipe etiam ut tollant plaustra de terra aegypti ad subvectionem parvulorum suorum et coniugum ac dicito tollite patrem vestrum et properate quantocius veniente
now thou art commanded, this do ye; take you wagons out of the land of egypt for your little ones, and for your wives, and bring your father, and come.

et dedisti eos in manu hostium suorum et adflixerunt eos et in tempore tribulationis suae clamaverunt ad te et tu de caelo audisti et secundum miserationes tuas multas dedisti eis salvatores qui salvaverunt eos de manu hostium suoru
therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.
