pactum, pacti bargain, agreement; manner;

recordamini in sempiternum pacti eius sermonis quem praecepit in mille generatione
be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

audite verba pacti huius et loquimini ad viros iuda et habitatores hierusale
hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of judah, and to the inhabitants of jerusalem;
