and [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than him.

but give the disbelievers that (amount of money) which they have spent [as their mahr] to them.

mwenyezi mungu si wa kumtosheleza mja wake? na ati wanakutishia kwa hao wenginewe wasio kuwa yeye!
is it not that allah suffices his worshiper, even though they frighten you with those other than him?

na ngamia wa sadaka tumekufanyieni kuwa ni kudhihirisha matukuzo kwa mwenyezi mungu; kwa hao mna kheri nyingi.
and the beasts of sacrifice -- we have appointed them for you as among god's waymarks; therein is good for you.

na ati wanakutishia kwa hao wenginewe wasio kuwa yeye! na aliye hukumiwa na mwenyezi mungu kupotea hana wa kumwongoa.
and they seek to frighten you with those besides him; and whomsoever allah makes err, there is no guide for him.

wanawake hao si halali kwa hao makafiri, wala hao makafiri hawahalalikii wanawake waumini. na wapeni hao wanaume mahari walio toa.
that is allah's judgment; he judges between you, and allah is knowing, wise.

mkiwa mnawajua kuwa ni waumini basi msiwarudishe kwa makafiri. wanawake hao si halali kwa hao makafiri, wala hao makafiri hawahalalikii wanawake waumini.
and if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them.

maana habari njema imehubiriwa kwetu kama vile ilivyohubiriwa kwa hao watu wa kale. lakini ujumbe huo haukuwafaa chochote, maana waliusikia lakini hawakuupokea kwa imani.
for unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

na ngamia wa sadaka tumekufanyieni kuwa ni kudhihirisha matukuzo kwa mwenyezi mungu; kwa hao mna kheri nyingi. basi litajeni jina la mwenyezi mungu juu yao wanapo simama kwa safu.
and (as for) the camels, we have made them of the signs of the religion of allah for you; for you therein is much good; therefore mention the name of allah on them as they stand in a row, then when they fall down eat of them and feed the poor man who is contented and the beggar; thus have we made them subservient to you, that you may be grateful.

wao wenyewe wameamua kufanya hivyo; lakini, kwa kweli, hilo ni jukumu lao kwa hao. maana, ikiwa watu wa mataifa mengine wameshiriki baraka za kiroho za wayahudi, wanapaswa nao pia kuwahudumia wayahudi katika mahitaji yao ya kidunia.
it hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. for if the gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
