l'invention concerne un composé métallique correspondant à la formule : mxx lt (i), dans laquelle x représente hydrure ou un groupe ligand anionique monovalent comprenant jusqu'à 60 atomes, sans compter l'hydrogène, ou éventuellement, deux groupes x sont assemblés pour former un groupe ligand divalent ; à la condition que dans au moins un cas, x représente un groupe représenté par la formule, -nr12, dans laquelle r1 représente un groupe hydrocarbyle c¿1-20? ou son dérivé substitué par halo, alcoxy, trihydrocarbylsilyle ou dihydrocarbylamino et que dans au moins un cas, r?1¿ représente un groupe hydrocarbyle volumineux choisi dans le groupe constitué des groupes alkyle, aryle, aralkyle ou cycloalkyle contenant de 4 à 20 atomes de carbone ; m représente un métal du groupe 4, de préférence ti ; l représente, indépendamment dans chaque cas, un composé de ligature neutre contenant de 4 à 20 atomes ; x vaut un nombre de 2 à 4 égal à l'état d'oxydation formel de m ; et t vaut un nombre de 0 à 2.
a metal compound corresponding to the formula: mxx lt (i), wherein x is hydride or a monovalent anionic ligand group having up to 60 atoms not counting hydrogen, or optionally, two x groups are joined together to form a divalent ligand group; with the proviso that in at least one occurrence, x is a group of the formula, -nr12, wherein r1 is a c¿1-20? hydrocarbyl group, or a halo, alkoxy, trihydrocarbylsilyl or dihydrocarbylamino substituted derivative thereof, with the further proviso that in at least one occurrence, r?1¿ is a bulky hydrocarbyl group selected from alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, or cycloalkyl groups containing from 4 to 20 carbon atoms; m is a group 4 metal, preferably ti; l independently each occurrence is a neutral ligating compound having up to 20 atoms; x is a number from 2 to 4 equal to the formal oxidation state of m; and t is a number from 0 to 2.
