l'invention concerne un nouvel ester de polypropoxylate gras qui est un ester d'un monoacide aliphatique ou aromatique formé par réaction de l'acide avec un excès stoïchiométrique d'un alcool gras polypropoxylé. les composés présentent la formule structurale suivante : formule (i), dans laquelle r1 désigne un alcool gras polypropoxylé ayant la formule structurale : formule (ii), dans laquelle r5 désigne un fragment aliphatique ou aromatique saturé ou insaturé, substitué ou non substitué contenant entre 4 et 24 atomes de carbone et x désigne un entier compris entre 3 et 30 ; et dans laquelle r présente la formule structurale : formule (iii), a) dans laquelle r2, r3 et r4 sont sélectionnées indépendamment dans le groupe constitué de méthyle, éthyle, propyle ou isopropyle; ou b) formule (iv), dans laquelle r6 désigne h ou oh ou nh2 ou méthyle ou éthyle. les composés font preuve de propriétés de dispersion de pigment et d'émollient esthétique exceptionnelles et sont indiqués dans les soins personnels et pour les préparations pharmaceutiques topiques, p.ex. rouges à lèvres, des bases de crème, des écrans solaires résistant à l'eau, et des lotions d'écrans solaires.
a novel fatty polypropoxylate ester which is an ester of an aliphatic or an aromatic monoacid formed by reacting the acid with a stoichiometric excess of a polypropoxylated fatty alcohol. the compounds have the following structural formula (i), wherein r1 is a polypropoxylated fatty alcohol having the structural formula (ii), wherein r5 is a saturated or unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic or aromatic moiety containing from 4 to 24 carbon atoms, and x is an integer from 3 to 30; and wherein r has the structural formula (iii) a) wherein r2, r3, and r4 are independently selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, propyl or isopropyl; or b) formula (iv), wherein r6 is h or oh or nh2 or methyl or ethyl. the compounds possess exceptional pigment dispersant and esthetic emollient properties for use in personal care and topical pharmaceutical preparations, e.g., lipsticks, cream foundations, waterproof sunscreens, sunscreen lotions.
