säkerhetsrutor skall genomgå de i tabellen angivna provningarna:
safety glass shall be subjected to the tests listed in the following table:

bilaga 2 k säkerhetsrutor klädda med plastöverdrag (på insidan)
annex ii k plastic-coated safety glazing (on the inner surface)

säkerhetsrutor av härdat glas, överdraget med plastmaterial, skall genomgå provning av beständighet mot fukt.
in the case of plastic-coated toughened safety glazing a resistance-to-humidity test shall be performed.

beroende på kategori skall alla typer av säkerhetsrutor vara i enlighet med följande särskilda föreskrifter:
depending on the category to which they belong all types of glazing must meet the following individual specifications:

säkerhetsrutor klädda med plast: kraven enligt bilaga 2 k, utöver de tillämpliga kraven ovan.
in the case of plastic-coated safety glass the requirements set out in annex ii k in addition to the appropriate requirements listed above;

ansökan om eeg-typgodkännande för en typ av fönsterruta skall inges av tillverkaren av säkerhetsrutor eller av dennes representant.
the application for the eec component type-approval of a type of glass pane shall be submitted by the manufacturer of the safety-glass pane or by his duly accredited representative.

om detta prov i fråga om vissa säkerhetsrutor inte erbjuder en tillfredsställande överensstämmelse med provet och de aktuella användningsförhållandena blir det nödvändigt att ompröva provningsvillkoren.
in the case of safety glass panes for which there is no satisfactory correlation between this test and the conditions of use it will be necessary to review the test conditions.

all safety-glass panes, including the samples and test pieces submitted for component type-approval, shall bear the trade name or mark of the manufacturer.

om de prover som inlämnats för typgodkännande uppfyller de krav som avses i punkt 1.1 - 1.3, beviljas typgodkännande för ifrågavarande typ av säkerhetsrutor.
if the samples submitted for component type-approval meet the requirements of items 1.1 to 1.3 below, approval of the pertinent type of safety-glass pane shall be granted.
