direktyvos 92/43/eeb 1 straipsnio c punkto iii papunktyje nurodytą alpių biogeografinį regioną sudaro sąjungos alpių (austrija, italija, vokietija, prancūzija ir slovėnija), pirėnų (prancūzija ir ispanija), apeninų kalnų (italija), šiaurės fenoskandijos kalnų (Švedija ir suomija), karpatų kalnų (lenkija, slovakija ir rumunija) ir balkanų, rilos, pirino, rodopų ir saštinska sredna gora kalnų (bulgarija) teritorijos, kaip nustatyta biogeografiniame žemėlapyje, kurį 2005 m. balandžio 25 d. patvirtino tos direktyvos 20 straipsniu įsteigtas komitetas (toliau – buveinių komitetas).
the alpine biogeographical region referred to in article 1(c)(iii) of directive 92/43/eec comprises the union territories of the alps (austria, italy, germany, france and slovenia), the pyrenees (france and spain), the apennine mountains (italy), the northern fennoscandian mountains (sweden and finland), the carpathian mountains (poland, slovakia and romania) and the balkan, rila, pirin, rhodope and the sashtinska sredna gora mountains (bulgaria) as specified in the biogeographical map approved on 25 april 2005 by the committee set up by article 20 of that directive, hereinafter the ‘habitats committee’.
