早 晨 回 城 的 時 候 、 他 餓 了
now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

他 禁 食 四 十 晝 夜 、 後 來 就 餓 了
and when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

賊 因 飢 餓 偷 竊 充 飢 、 人 不 藐 視 他
men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry;

因 飢 餓 燥 熱 、 我 們 的 皮 膚 就 黑 如 爐
our skin was black like an oven because of the terrible famine.

叫 飢 餓 的 得 飽 美 食 、 叫 富 足 的 空 手 回 去
he hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

他 使 飢 餓 的 人 住 在 那 裡 、 好 建 造 可 住 的 城 邑
and there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

他 的 力 量 必 因 飢 餓 衰 敗 、 禍 患 要 在 他 旁 邊 等 候
his strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.

使 人 赤 身 無 衣 、 到 處 流 行 ． 且 因 飢 餓 扛 抬 禾 捆
they cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;

你 的 仇 敵 、 若 餓 了 就 給 他 飯 喫 ． 若 渴 了 就 給 他 水 喝
if thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:

他 為 受 屈 的 伸 冤 、 賜 食 物 與 飢 餓 的 。 耶 和 華 釋 放 被 囚 的
which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. the lord looseth the prisoners:

因 為 我 餓 了 、 你 們 不 給 我 喫 ． 渴 了 、 你 們 不 給 我 喝
for i was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: i was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

人 喫 飽 了 、 厭 惡 蜂 房 的 蜜 ． 人 飢 餓 了 、 一 切 苦 物 都 覺 甘 甜
the full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

他 們 因 窮 乏 飢 餓 、 身 體 枯 瘦 、 在 荒 廢 淒 涼 的 幽 暗 中 、 齦 乾 燥 之 地
for want and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.

所 以 我 的 百 姓 、 因 無 知 就 被 擄 去 ． 他 們 的 尊 貴 人 甚 是 飢 餓 、 群 眾 極 其 乾 渴
therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

不 是 要 把 你 的 餅 、 分 給 飢 餓 的 人 ． 將 飄 流 的 窮 人 、 接 到 你 家 中 ． 見 赤 身 的 、 給 他 衣 服 遮 體 ． 顧 恤 自 己 的 骨 肉 而 不 掩 藏 麼
is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
