உமக்கு (எவ்வித) நன்மையையோ, தீமையையோ செய்ய இயலாத அல்லாஹ் அல்லாததை எதனையும் நீர் பிரார்த்திக்க வேண்டாம்; (அவ்வாறு) செய்வீராயின் நிச்சயமாக நீர் அநியாயக்காரர்களில் ஒருவராகிவிடவீர்.

and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites but do not harm them, and rely upon allah. and sufficient is allah as disposer of affairs.
அன்றியும் காஃபிர்களுக்கும், முனாஃபிக்குகளுக்கும் நீர் வழிப்படாதீர்; அவர்கள் (தரும்) துன்பத்தை(ப் புறக்கணித்து) விடுவீராக அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதே முற்றிலும் உறுதிகொண்டு (அவனையே சார்ந்து) இருப்பீராக! அல்லாஹ்வே போதுமான பாதுகாவலனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

and do not call besides allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust.
உமக்கு (எவ்வித) நன்மையையோ, தீமையையோ செய்ய இயலாத அல்லாஹ் அல்லாததை எதனையும் நீர் பிரார்த்திக்க வேண்டாம்; (அவ்வாறு) செய்வீராயின் நிச்சயமாக நீர் அநியாயக்காரர்களில் ஒருவராகிவிடவீர்.

உமக்கு (எவ்வித) நன்மையையோ, தீமையையோ செய்ய இயலாத அல்லாஹ் அல்லாததை எதனையும் நீர் பிரார்த்திக்க வேண்டாம்; (அவ்வாறு) செய்வீராயின் நிச்சயமாக நீர் அநியாயக்காரர்களில் ஒருவராகிவிடவீர்.

and fight them until no mischief remains, and only allah is worshipped; then if they desist, do not harm them, except the unjust.
ஃபித்னா(குழப்பமும், கலகமும்) நீங்கி அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே மார்க்கம் என்பது உறுதியாகும் வரை, நீங்கள் அவர்களுடன் போரிடுங்கள்;. ஆனால் அவர்கள் ஒதுங்கி விடுவார்களானால் - அக்கிரமக்காரர்கள் தவிர(வேறு எவருடனும்) பகை (கொண்டு போர் செய்தல்) கூடாது.

and do not be saddened by those who rush into disbelief. they will not harm god in the least. god desires to give them no share in the hereafter. a terrible torment awaits them.
"குஃப்ரில் அவர்கள் வேகமாகச் சென்று கொண்டிருப்பது உம்மைக்கவலை கொள்ளச் செய்ய வேண்டாம்;. நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு ஒரு சிறு தீங்கும் செய்துவிட முடியாது. அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு மறுமையில் நற்பாக்கியம் எதுவும் ஆக்காமல் இருக்கவே நாடுகிறான்;. அவர்களுக்குப் பெரும் வேதனையும் உண்டு.

and do not be grieved by those who rush into disbelief. they do no harm to god; and god will not give them any share in the life to come, and their torment shall be great.
"குஃப்ரில் அவர்கள் வேகமாகச் சென்று கொண்டிருப்பது உம்மைக்கவலை கொள்ளச் செய்ய வேண்டாம்;. நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு ஒரு சிறு தீங்கும் செய்துவிட முடியாது. அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்கு மறுமையில் நற்பாக்கியம் எதுவும் ஆக்காமல் இருக்கவே நாடுகிறான்;. அவர்களுக்குப் பெரும் வேதனையும் உண்டு.

அவர் பறவைகளை(ப் பற்றியும்) பரிசீலனை செய்து "நான் (இங்கே) ஹுது ஹுது(ப் பறவையைக்) காணவில்லையே என்ன காரணம்? அல்லது அது மறைந்தவற்றில் நின்றும் ஆகி விட்டதோ?" என்று கூறினார்.

அவர் பறவைகளை(ப் பற்றியும்) பரிசீலனை செய்து "நான் (இங்கே) ஹுது ஹுது(ப் பறவையைக்) காணவில்லையே என்ன காரணம்? அல்லது அது மறைந்தவற்றில் நின்றும் ஆகி விட்டதோ?" என்று கூறினார்.

conspiracies are from satan, that he may dishearten those who believe; but he will not harm them in the least, except by leave of god. so let the believers put their trust in god.

"நீங்கள் (இவ்வுபதேசத்தைப்) புறக்கணிப்பீர்களாயின் எனற்காக நான் உங்களிடம் அனுப்பப் பட்டேனோ அதனை நிச்சயமாக நான் உங்களிடம் சேர்ப்பித்துவிட்டேன்; இன்னும் என்னுடைய இறைவன் நீங்கள் அல்லாத (வேறு) ஒரு சமூகத்தை உங்களுக்கு பதிலாக வைத்துவிடுவான்; அவனுக்கு எப் பொருளையும் கொண்டு நீங்கள் அவனுக்கு யாதொரு தீங்கும் செய்ய முடியாது. நிச்சயமாக என் இறைவன் யாவற்றையும் பாதுகாப்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்" (என்றும் கூறினார்).

"if ye turn away,- i (at least) have conveyed the message with which i was sent to you. my lord will make another people to succeed you, and you will not harm him in the least. for my lord hath care and watch over all things."
