and there is not a thing but with us are the stores thereof. and we send it not down save in appointed measure.

save in regard to their spouses and those whom their right hands own: so they are not blameworthy-

believers! fear allah as he should be feared, and see that you do not die save in the state of submission to allah.
நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோரே! நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வை அஞ்ச வேண்டிய முறைப்படி அஞ்சுங்கள்; மேலும், (அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிப்பட்ட) முஸ்லிம்களாக அன்றி நீங்கள் மரிக்காதீர்கள்.

and we have not sent down the book unto thee save in order that thou mayest expound unto them that wherein they differ, and as a guidance and a mercy unto a people who believe.
(நபியே!) அன்றியும், அவர்கள் எ(வ் விஷயத்)தில் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதை நீர் தெளிவாக்குவதற்காகவே உம் மீது இவ்வேதத்தை இறக்கினோம்; இன்னும், ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ள மக்களுக்கு (இது) நேரான வழியாகவும், ரஹ்மத்தாகவும் (அருளாகவும்) இருக்கிறது.

and do not approach the property of the orphan save in the fairest manner, until he is of age. and fulfil the covenant; surely the covenant shall be questioned of.
அநாதைகள் பிராயமடையும் வரை, (அவர்களின் பொறுப்பேற்றிருக்கும்) நீங்கள், நியாயமான முறையிலன்றி அவர்களுடைய பொருளை நெருங்காதீர்கள், இன்னும் (நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்விடமோ, மனிதர்களிடமோ கொடுத்த) வாக்குறுதியை நிறை வேற்றுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக (அவ்) வாக்குறுதி (பற்றித் தீர்ப்பு நாளில் உங்களிடம்) விசாரிக்கப்படும்.

and those who call not unto anot her god along with allah and slay not any soul which allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. and whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed.
அன்றியும், அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடன் வேறு நாயனைப் பிரார்த்திக்கமாட்டார்கள்; இன்னும், அல்லாஹ்வினால் விலக்கப் பட்ட எந்த மனிதரையும் அவர்கள் நியாயமின்றிக் கொல்லமாட்டார்கள், விபசாரமும் செய்ய மாட்டார்கள் - ஆகவே, எவர் இவற்றைச் செய்கிறாரோ, அவர் தண்டனை அடைய நேரிடும்.

and abraham charged his sons with this and jacob likewise: 'my sons, god has chosen for you the religion; see that you die not save in surrender.'
இதையே இப்ராஹீம் தம் குமாரார்களுக்கு வஸிய்யத்து (உபதேசம்) செய்தார்;. யஃகூபும் (இவ்வாறே செய்தார்); அவர் கூறினார்; "என் குமாரர்களே! அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்குச் சன்மார்க்கத்தை (இஸ்லாமை) தேர்ந்தெடுத்துள்ளான். நீங்கள் முஸ்லிம்களாக அன்றி மரணிக்காதீர்கள்."

and believe not save in one who followeth your religion - say (o muhammad): lo! the guidance is allah's guidance - that anyone is given the like of that which was given unto you or that they may argue with you in the presence of their lord. say (o muhammad): lo! the bounty is in allah's hand. he bestoweth it on whom he will. allah is all-embracing, all-knowing.
"உங்கள் மார்க்கத்தைப் பின்பற்றுவோரைத் தவிர (வேறு எவரையும்) நம்பாதீர்கள்" (என்றும் கூறுகின்றனர். நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; நிச்சயமாக நேர்வழியென்பது அல்லாஹ்வின் வழியே ஆகும்;. உங்களுக்கு (வேதம்) கொடுக்கப்பட்டதுபோல் இன்னொருவருக்கும் கொடுக்கப்படுவதா அல்லது அவர்கள் உங்கள் இறைவன் முன் உங்களை மிகைத்து விடுவதா?" (என்று அவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் பேசிக் கொள்கிறார்கள்.) நிச்சயமாக அருட்கொடையெல்லாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் கையிலேயே உள்ளது. அதை அவன் நாடியோருக்கு வழங்குகின்றான்; அல்லாஹ் விசாலமான (கொடையளிப்பவன்; யாவற்றையும்) நன்கறிபவன் என்று கூறுவீராக.
