and if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family:
ถ้าคนต่างด้าวหรือคนที่อาศัยอยู่กับเจ้ามั่งมีขึ้น และพี่น้องของเจ้าที่อยู่ใกล้ชิดกับเขายากจนลง และขายตัวให้แก่คนต่างด้าวหรือผู้ที่อาศัยอยู่กับเจ้านั้น หรือขายให้แก่ญาติคนหนึ่งคนใดของคนต่างด้าวนั้

had it been possible for a lecture to cause the mountains to move, or the earth to be torn asunder, or the dead to speak, (this qur'an would have done so). nay, but allah's is the whole command. do not those who believe know that, had allah willed, he could have guided all mankind? as for those who disbelieve, disaster ceaseth not to strike them because of what they do, or it dwelleth near their home until the threat of allah come to pass. lo! allah faileth not to keep the tryst.
และมาตรว่าอัลกุรอาน โดยมันนั้นภูเขาถูกทำให้เคลื่อนที่ได้ หรือโดยมันนั้นแผ่นดินถูกทำให้แยกออกจากกันได้ หรือโดยมันนั้นคนตายถูกทำให้พูดได้ แต่ทว่าพระบัญชาทั้งมวลเป็นกรรมสิทธิ์ของอัลลอฮ บรรดาผู้ศรัทธายังมิรู้ดอกหรือว่า มาตรว่าอัลลอฮทรงประสงค์ แน่นอนพระองค์จะทรงชี้แนะทางแก่มนุษย์ทั้งมวลก็ได้ และบรรดาผู้ปฏิเสธศรัทธานั้น ความหายนะคงจะประสบแก่พวกเขา เนื่องด้วยพวกเขาได้กระทำไว้ หรือจะเกิดขึ้นใกล้ที่พำนักของพวกเขา จนกระทั่งสัญญาณของอัลลอฮจะมาถึง แท้จริงอัลลอฮมิทรงผิดสัญญา
