say: "what thing is most weighty in evidence?" say: "allah is witness between me and you; this qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that i may warn you and all whom it reaches. can ye possibly bear witness that besides allah there is another allah?" say: "nay! i cannot bear witness!" say: "but in truth he is the one allah, and i truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with him."
จงกล่าวเถิด(มุฮัมมัด) ว่า สิ่งใดใหญ่ยิ่งกว่าในการเป็นพยาน จงกล่าวเถิดว่าอัลลอฮ์นั้นคือผู้เป็นพยานระหว่างฉันกับพวกท่าน และอัล-กรุอานนี้ก็ได้ถูกประทานลงมาแก่ฉัน เพื่อที่ฉันจะได้ใช้อัลกรุอาน นี้ตักเตือนพวกท่าน และผู้ที่อัลกรุอานนี้ไปถึง พวกท่านจะยืนยันโดยแน่นอนกระนั้นหรือว่า มีบรรดาที่เคารพสักการะอื่นร่วมกับอัลลอฮ์? จงกล่าวเถิด(มุฮัมมัด) ว่าฉันจะไม่ยืนยัน จงกล่าวเถิด แท้จริงพระองค์นั้นคือผู้ที่ควรแก่การเคารพสักการะแต่เพียงองค์เดียวเท่านั้น และแท้จริงฉันขอปลีกตัวอกจากสิ่งที่พวกท่านให้มีภาคี(แก่อัลลอฮ์)
