i am that bread of life.
ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲰⲚϦ.

give us this day our daily bread.
ⲠⲈⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲢⲀⲤϮ ⲘⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲘⲪⲞⲞⲨ.

give us day by day our daily bread.
ⲠⲈⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲘⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲘⲘⲎⲚⲒ.

then said they unto him, lord, evermore give us this bread.
ⲠⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲘⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.

then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
ⲀϤⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲀⲦϢⲘⲎ ⲢⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲤϢⲈ ⲈϢⲀⲦ ⲠⲒⲠⲀⲤⲬⲀ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ.

now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the passover.
ⲚⲀϤϦⲈⲚⲦ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲠϢⲀⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲀⲦϢⲘⲎⲢ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲠⲀⲤⲬ Ⲁ.

and they reasoned among themselves, saying, it is because we have no bread.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲘⲞⲔⲘⲈⲔ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ.

and the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲞⲨⲎⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲐⲰⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϢⲦⲈⲘϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲈⲞⲨⲈⲘ ⲰⲒⲔ

and they reasoned among themselves, saying, it is because we have taken no bread.
ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲨⲘⲞⲔⲘⲈⲔ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲒ ⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲈⲘⲀⲚ.

now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲈⲢⲠⲰⲂϢ ⲈϬⲒ ⲰⲒⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϨⲖⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ϨⲒ ⲠⲒϪⲞⲒ ⲈⲂⲎⲖ ⲈⲞⲨⲰⲒⲔ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦϤ

and the devil said unto him, if thou be the son of god, command this stone that it be made bread.
ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲆⲒⲀⲂⲞⲖⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲀϪⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲰⲚⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲈⲢⲰⲒⲔ.

for john the baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, he hath a devil.
ⲀϤⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲠⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲰⲘⲤ ⲈϤⲞⲨⲈⲘ ⲰⲒⲔ ⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚϤⲤⲈ ⲎⲢⲠ ⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲆⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ.

but he answered and said, it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲚⲈⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲈⲖ ⲠⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲚⲒϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲈⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲚⲒⲞⲨϨⲰⲢ.

now them that are such we command and exhort by our lord jesus christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
ⲚⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲦⲈⲚϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲚϮϨⲞ ϦⲈⲚⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈⲘⲢⲀⲨϢ ⲈⲨⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲞⲨϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲤⲈⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲘⲠⲞⲨⲰⲒⲔ.

and when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲚⲀⲨ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎ ⲦⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲚⲚⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲚⲞⲨϪⲒϪ ⲐⲰⲖⲈⲂ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲦⲒⲀ ⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ

then the pharisees and scribes asked him, why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨϢⲈⲚϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲪⲀⲢⲒⲤⲈⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲤⲀϦ ϪⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲤⲈⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲈⲔⲘⲀⲐⲎ ⲦⲎⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ϮⲠⲀⲢⲀⲆⲞⲤⲒⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲠⲢⲈⲤⲂⲨⲦⲈⲢⲞⲤ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚϪⲒϪ ⲈⲨⲐⲞⲖⲈⲂ ⲤⲈⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲘⲠⲒⲰⲒⲔ.

and because he saw it pleased the jews, he proceeded further to take peter also. (then were the days of unleavened bread.)
ⲈⲦⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲆⲈ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒϨⲰⲂ ⲢⲀⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲀϨⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲈϬⲰⲠⲒ ⲘⲠⲔⲈⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲀⲦⲔⲰⲂ.

when he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
ⲈⲦⲀϤϢⲈ ⲆⲈ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲪⲰϢ ⲘⲠⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲈⲘϮⲠⲒ ⲀϤⲤⲰⲔ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ϢⲀⲦⲈ ⲪⲞⲨⲰⲒⲚⲒ ⲒⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ.

after two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
ⲚⲈ ⲚⲒⲠⲀⲤⲬⲀ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲀⲦϢⲈⲘⲎ ⲢⲘⲈⲚⲈⲚⲤⲀ ⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲔⲰϮ ⲠⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲀⲢⲬⲒⲈⲢⲈⲨⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲤⲀϦ ϪⲈ ⲠⲰⲤ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲀⲘⲞⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲬⲢⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϦⲞⲐⲂⲈϤ

then jesus said unto them, verily, verily, i say unto you, moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
ⲠⲈϪⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ ⲀⲘⲎⲚ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲘⲰⲨⲤⲎⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲀϤϮ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲠⲀⲒⲰⲦ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϮ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲦⲀⲪⲘⲎⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ.
