tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
ⲀϪⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲎⲒ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ϦⲀ ⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲚ.

and the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲀϤⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚⲈⲢⲈⲦⲒⲚ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲚⲀϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ.

as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲔⲞⲨϪⲒ ⲚⲀⲖⲰⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲀⲨⲘⲀⲤⲞⲨ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲠⲒⲈⲢⲰϮ ⲚⲖⲞⲄⲒⲔⲞⲚ ⲚⲀⲦⲬⲢⲞϤ ϬⲒϢϢⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲀⲒⲀⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ.

and we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
ⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲰⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲦⲀⲒⲤⲠⲞⲨⲆⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲠϪⲰⲔ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲀⲒϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ϢⲀ ϦⲀⲈ.

but now having no more place in these parts, and having a great desire these many years to come unto you;
ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚϮ ⲘⲀ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲒⲤⲀ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲒ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲆⲈ ϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦ ⲈⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲢⲞⲘⲠⲒ.

for neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲤⲞⲨⲂⲎ ⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲈⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲠⲒⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲀⲨⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲐⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲞⲨⲂⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲀⲢⲜ.

but we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this sect, we know that every where it is spoken against.
ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲀⲜⲒⲞⲒⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦⲔ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲔⲘⲈⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲦⲀⲒϨⲈⲢⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲒϨⲰⲂ ⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲢⲞⲚ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲈⲢⲀⲚⲦⲒⲖⲈⲄⲒⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲎⲦⲤ ϦⲈⲚⲘⲀⲒ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ.

and he said unto the disciples, the days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the son of man, and ye shall not see it.
ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ϪⲈ ⲤⲈⲚⲎ ⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲚ ⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠϢⲎ ⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲨ.

and he said, the jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down paul to morrow into the council, as though they would inquire somewhat of him more perfectly.

and james and john, the sons of zebedee, come unto him, saying, master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲨⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲚⲌⲈⲂⲈⲆⲈⲞⲤ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲪⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢⲈⲦⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲀⲒϤ ⲚⲀⲚ.

but what i do, that i will do, that i may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
ⲠⲈϮⲢⲀ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ϮⲚⲀⲀⲒϤ ⲞⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲀϪⲈϪ ⲐⲖⲰⲒϪⲒ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲖⲰⲒϪⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲤⲈϪⲈⲘⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲎ ⲈⲦϢⲞⲨϢⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲠⲈⲚⲢⲎϮ ϨⲰⲚ.

but now, after that ye have known god, or rather are known of god, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
ϮⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲘⲀⲖⲖⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲤⲞⲨⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲠⲰⲤ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲰϮ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲚ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲚⲒϪⲰⲂ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚϨⲎ ⲔⲒ ⲚⲤⲦⲞⲒⲬⲒⲞⲚ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲈⲈⲢⲂⲰⲔ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲔⲈⲤⲞⲠ.

ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲈⲠⲒⲐⲨⲘⲒⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϦⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲬⲞϨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈϢⲀϢⲚⲒ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢϬⲚⲎⲚ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲠⲞⲖⲈⲘⲒⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲈⲦⲒⲚ ⲀⲚ

and not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that i rejoiced the more.
ⲞⲨ ⲘⲞⲚⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲈϤⲠⲀⲢⲞⲨⲤⲒⲀ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲚⲈⲘ ϦⲈⲚϮⲔⲈⲚⲞⲘϮ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲦⲀϪⲢⲞ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈϤⲦⲀⲘⲞ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲈⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲈⲒ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲢⲒⲘⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲬ ⲞϨ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲚ ϨⲰⲤⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲀⲢⲀϢⲒ ⲚϨⲞⲨⲞ

for behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! in all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
