the labour of the righteous tendeth to life: the fruit of the wicked to sin.
ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူ၏အလုပ်အကိုင်သည် အသက်နှင့်၎င်း၊ မတရားသောသူ၏ အကျိုးစီးပွါးသည် အပြစ်နှင့်၎င်း ယှဉ်၏။

all the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

for thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင် သင်သည် မိမိလက်နှင့် လုပ် ဆောင်၍ရသော အစာကို စားရလိမ့်မည်။ မင်္ဂလာရှိ၍ ကောင်းစားရလိမ့်မည်။

the labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.

then i looked on all the works that my hands had wrought, and on the labour that i had laboured to do: and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.
ထိုအခါငါစီရင်ပြုပြင်သမျှ၊ ငါကြိုးစားအားထုတ် သမျှတို့ ကိုငါကြည့်ရှု၍၊ အလုံးစုံတို့သည် အနတ္တအမှု၊ လေကိုကျက်စားသော အကျိုးတစုံတခုမျှမရှိ။

although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
သင်္ဘောသဖန်းပင် မပွင့်ရ၊ စပျစ်ပင်မသီးရ၊ သံလွင်ပင်၏ကျေးဇူးကို မြော်လင့်၍မခံရ၊ လယ်တို့သည် အသီးအနှံကို မပေးရ၊ သိုးခြံ၌ သိုးကုန်၍ တင်းကုပ်၌ နွားမရှိရ။

and i called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.
မြေပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ တောင်ပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ ဆန်စပါး၊ ချိုသောစပျစ်ရည်၊ ဆီအပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ မြေထဲကထွက်သမျှ အပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ လူသတ္တဝါတိရစ္ဆာန်အပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ လုပ် ဆောင်သမျှအပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ သွေ့ခြောက်ခြင်းဘေးကို ငါမှာ လိုက်လေပြီဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
