'our lord, fulfil what you promised to us through your messengers, and disgrace us not on the day of resurrection; indeed you never go back on your promise.
ka bã mu abin da ka yi mana wa'adi (alkawari) a kan manzanninka, kuma kada ka tozarta mu a rãnar ¡iyãma. lalle ne kai, bã ka sãɓãwar alkawari."

(o prophet), you never looked forward for the book to be revealed to you. it is out of sheer mercy of your lord that it was (revealed to you).

when you used to conceal yourselves (while committing misdeeds) you never thought that your ears or your eyes or your skins would ever bear witness against you; you rather fancied that allah does not know a great deal of what you do.
"ba ku kasance kunã sani ba a ɓõye, cẽwa jinku zai yi shaida a kanku kuma ganinku zai yi, kuma fãtunku za su yi. kuma amma kun yi zaton cẽwã allah bai san abũbuwa mãsu yawa daga abin da kuke aikatãwa ba."

have you never considered the hypocrites? they say to their brethren among the people of the book who do not believe: "if you are driven out we shall go with you, and will not listen to any one in what concerns you; and if there is war against you, we shall aid you."
ashe, ba ka ga waɗanda suka yi munãfinci ba, sunã cẽwa ga 'yan'uwansu, waɗanda suka kãfirta daga mazõwa littafi, "lalle idan an fitar da ku, lalle zã mu fita tãre da ku, kuma bã zã mu yi ɗã'a ga kõwa ba game da ku, har abada, kuma lalle idan an yãƙe ku, lalle zã mu taimake ku haƙĩƙatan?"
