« በእኛ ላይም ግልጽ የኾነ ማድረስ እንጂ ሌላ የለብንም ፡ ፡ »

በመልክተኛው ላይ ማድረስ እንጅ ሌላ የለበትም ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትገልጹትን ነገር የምትደብቁትንም ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡

the duty of the messenger is only the delivery ( of the message ) . allah knows what you reveal and what you hide .
በመልክተኛው ላይ ማድረስ እንጅ ሌላ የለበትም ፡ ፡ አላህም የምትገልጹትን ነገር የምትደብቁትንም ሁሉ ያውቃል ፡ ፡

then , if they turn away , thy duty ( o muhammad ) is but plain conveyance ( of the message ) .
( ከኢስላም ) ቢሸሹም ባንተ ላይ ያለብህ ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

by no means ! we write down what he says , and we will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement
ይከልከል ( አይሰጠውም ) ፡ ፡ የሚለውን ሁሉ በእርግጥ እንጽፋለን ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ከቅጣት ጭማሬን እንጨምርለታለን ፡ ፡

" who used to say , ' what ! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the truth ( of the message ) ?
« በእርግጥ አንተ ከሚያምኑት ነህን ? የሚል ፡ ፡

nay ! he has come with the ( very ) truth , and he confirms ( the message of ) the messengers ( before him ) .
አይደለም እውነቱን ( ሃይማኖት ) አመጣ ፡ ፡ መልክተኞቹንም እውነተኛነታቸውን አረጋገጠ ፡ ፡

" this is what we rehearse unto thee of the signs and the message of wisdom . "
ይህ ከተዓምራቶችና ጥበብን ከያዘው ተግሳጽ ሲኾን በአንተ ላይ እናነበዋለን ፡ ፡

and obey allah and obey the apostle and be cautious ; but if you turn back , then know that only a clear deliverance of the message is ( incumbent ) on our apostle .
አላህንም ተገዙ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውንም ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ ተጠንቀቁም ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ፤ በመልክተኛችን ላይ ያለበት ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

" and if you deny , then nations before you have denied ( their messengers ) . and the duty of the messenger is only to convey ( the message ) plainly . "
« ብታስተባብሉም ከፊታችሁ የነበሩት ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ አስተባብለዋል ፡ ፡ በመልክተኛውም ላይ ግልጽ ማድረስ እንጂ ሌላ የለበትም ፡ ፡ »

so those who believe ( in the message of the truth ) and do good are destined for happiness and a blissful end .
እነዚያ ያመኑትና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነሱ ደግ ኑሮ መልካም መመለሻም አላቸው ፡ ፡

and we sent not before you except men to whom we revealed [ our message ] . so ask the people of the message if you do not know .
ከአንተም በፊት ወደእነሱ ወሕይን ( ራእይን ) የምናወርድላቸውን ሰዎችን እንጂ ሌላን አልላክንም ፡ ፡ የማታውቁም ብትኾኑ የዕውቀትን ባለቤቶች ጠይቁ ፡ ፡

but if they turn away , your only duty is to clearly deliver the message of the truth .
( ከኢስላም ) ቢሸሹም ባንተ ላይ ያለብህ ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

he said , " only god has the knowledge ( of the coming of such torment ) . i preach to you the message that i have brought , but i can see that you are an ignorant people " .
« ዕውቀቱ አላህ ዘንድ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ያን በእርሱ የተላክሁበትንም አደርስላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ግን እኔ የምትሳሳቱ ሕዝቦች ኾናችሁ አያችኋለሁ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

such are the ones who believe ( in the message of the prophet ) and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of allah . surely in allah 's remembrance do hearts find rest .
( እነሱም ) እነዚያ ያመኑ ልቦቻቸውም አላህን በማውሳት የሚረኩ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! አላህን በማውሳት ልቦች ይረካሉ ፡ ፡
