ማተሚያው ምስክ ከኾነ ፤ በዚህም ተሽቀዳዳሚዎች ይሽቀዳደሙ ፡ ፡

the people whom we destroyed can never return to this world
ባጠፋናትም ከተማ ላይ እነሱ ( ወደኛ ) የማይመለሱ መኾናቸው እብለት ነው ፤ ( ይመለሳሉ ) ፡ ፡

and he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
ሳይታክቱም ዘወትር ሊጸልዩ እንዲገባቸው የሚል ምሳሌን ነገራቸው፥

however, others are more positive to this proposal for various reasons.
ቢሆንም ግን ሌሎች ስለረቂቁ አዎንታዊ ምልከታ አላቸው፡፡

and we have made every man 's actions to cling to his neck , and we will bring forth to him on the resurrection day a book which he will find wide open :
ሰውንም ሁሉ በራሪውን ( ሥራውን ) በአንገቱ አስያዝነው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም በትንሣኤ ቀን የተዘረጋ ኾኖ የሚያገኘው የኾነን መጽሐፍ እናወጣለታለን ፡ ፡

and those who disbelieve say : do not listen to this quran and make noise therein , perhaps you may overcome .
እነዚያም የካዱት « ይህንን ቁርኣን አታዳምጡ ፡ ፡ ታሸንፉም ዘንድ ( ሲነበብ ) በእርሱ ውሰጥ ተንጫጩ » አሉ ፡ ፡

no associate hath he . and to this i am bidden , and i am the first of the muslims .
« ለእርሱ ተጋሪ የለውም ፡ ፡ በዚህም ( በማጥራት ) ታዘዝኩ ፡ ፡ እኔም የሙስሊሞች መጀመሪያ ነኝ » ( በል ) ፡ ፡

( in response to this prayer ) we gave him the good news of a prudent boy ;
ታጋሽ በሆነ ወጣት ልጅም አበሰርነው ፡ ፡

and they say : the praise to allah , who hath guided us to this . we could not truly have been led aright if allah had not guided us .
በደረቶቻቸው ውስጥ ያለውንም ጥላቻ እናስወግዳለን ፡ ፡ ወንዞች በሥሮቻቸው ይፈሳሉ ፡ ፡ « ለዚያም ወደዚህ ( ላደረሰን ሥራ ) ለመራን አላህ ምስጋና ይገባው ፡ ፡ አላህ ባልመራንም ኖሮ አንመራም ነበር ፡ ፡ የጌታችን መልክተኞች በእውነት ላይ ሲኾኑ በእርግጥ መጥተውልናል » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ ይህች ገነት ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ተሰጣችኋት በማለት ይጠራሉ ፡ ፡

but none attains to this except those who are steadfast ; none attains to this except those endowed with mighty good fortune .
( ይህችንም ጠባይ ) እነዚያ የታገሱት እንጅ ሌላው አያገኛትም ፡ ፡ የትልቅም ዕድል ባለቤት እንጅ ማንም አይገጠማትም ፡ ፡

and when we made a covenant with you , that you shall not shed your blood or turn yourselves out of your dwellings , to this you consented and bore witness .
ደሞቻችሁን አታፍስሱ ነፍሶቻችሁንም ( ከፊላችሁን ) ከአገሮቻችሁ አታውጡ የምንል ስንኾን የጠበቀ ቃል ኪዳናችሁን በያዝንባችሁ ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( በኪዳኑ ) አረጋገጣችሁ ፤ እናንተም ትመሰክራላችሁ ፡ ፡

just as the blind and the seeing are not equal , so are the righteously striving believers and the sinners are not equal . how little to this you pay attention .
ዕውርና የሚያይ እነዚያም አምነው መልካሞችን የሠሩና መጥፎ ሠሪው አይስተካከሉም ፡ ፡ በጣም ጥቂትን ብቻ ትገሰጻላችሁ ፡ ፡

even prior to this , they tried to cause trouble and to turn your affairs upside-down until the truth came and the cause of god triumphed against their desires .
እነርሱ ጠይዎች ሲኾኑ እውነቱ እስከመጣና የአላህም ትዕዛዝ እስከተገለጸ ድረስ ከዚህ በፊት ሁከትን በእርግጥ ፈለጉ ፡ ፡ ነገሮችንም ሁሉ አገላበጡልህ ፡ ፡

as they sip the unpleasant water , death will approach them from all sides , but they will never die . in addition to this , they will experience the most intense torment .
ይጎነጨዋል ፤ ሊውጠውም አይቀርብም ፡ ፡ ሞትም ከየስፍራው ሁሉ ይመጣበታል ፤ እርሱም የሚሞት አይደለም ፡ ፡ ከስተፊቱም ከባድ ቅጣት አለ ፡ ፡

( if their enmity to gabriel is due to this , let them understand that ) whoever is enemy to allah , his angels , his messengers , gabriel and michael , allah is enemy to such disbelievers . "
ለአላህና ለመላእክቱ ለመልክተኞቹም ለጂብሪልም ለሚካልም ( ሚካኤል ) ጠላት የኾነ ሰው አላህ ለ ( እነዚህ ) ከሓዲዎች ጠላት ነው ፡ ፡
