መገሠጽንም በሚገሥጹት ፤

መላእክትም መላውም ተሰብስበው ሰገዱ ፡ ፡

መላእክትም መላውም ተሰብስበው ሰገዱ ፡ ፡

መሰለፍን በሚሰለፉት ፡ ፡

and the outstrippers ( angels ) , outstripping ,
መቅደምንም ቀዳሚዎች በኾኑት ፤

and the angels who distribute the affair .
ነገርን ሁሉ አከፋፋዮች በኾኑትም ( መላእክት ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

and the angels did obeisance , all of them ,
መላእክትም መላውም ባንድነት ሰገዱ ፡ ፡

by the angels which distribute the affairs ,
ነገርን ሁሉ አከፋፋዮች በኾኑትም ( መላእክት ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

and comes your lord , and angels row on row ,
መላእክትም ሰልፍ ሰልፍ ኾነው ጌታህ ( ትዕዛዙ ) በመጣ ጊዜ ፤

by the angels who release with gentle release .
በቀስታ መምዘዝንም መዘዦች በኾኑት ፤

and the angels say , " who will take away his soul ,
« አሻሪው ማነው ? » በተባለም ጊዜ ፡ ፡

and thy lord cometh , and his angels , rank upon rank ,
መላእክትም ሰልፍ ሰልፍ ኾነው ጌታህ ( ትዕዛዙ ) በመጣ ጊዜ ፤

so the angels prostrated themselves , all of them together .
መላእክትም መላውም ተሰብስበው ሰገዱ ፡ ፡

[ carried ] by the hands of messenger-angels ,
በጸሐፊዎቹ ( መላእክት ) እጆች ( ንጹሕ የተደረገች ) ፡ ፡

the angels say , " each of us has an appointed place .
( ጂብሪል አለ ) ከእኛም አንድም የለም ፤ ለእርሱ የታወቀ ደረጃ ያለው ቢሆን እንጅ ፡ ፡

did we create the angels females while they were present ?
ወይስ እኛ እነርሱ የተጣዱ ሆነው መላእክትን ሴቶች አድርገን ፈጠርን ?

said ibrahim , “ what is your task , o the sent angels ? ”
« እናንተ መልክተኞች ሆይ ! ታዲያ ነገራችሁ ምንድን ነው ? » አላቸው ፡ ፡

by those ( angels ) ranged in ranks ( or rows ) .
መሰለፍን በሚሰለፉት ፡ ፡

then those ( angels who ) distribute blessings by our command ;
ነገርን ሁሉ አከፋፋዮች በኾኑትም ( መላእክት ) እምላለሁ ፡ ፡
