in the name of the father, the son, and the holy spirit, amen.

and grieve not the holy spirit of god, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
ለቤዛም ቀን የታተማችሁበትን ቅዱሱን የእግዚአብሔርን መንፈስ አታሳዝኑ።

he therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but god, who hath also given unto us his holy spirit.
እንግዲህ የሚጥል ሰውን የጣለ አይደለም፥ መንፈስ ቅዱስን በእናንተ እንዲኖር የሰጠውን እግዚአብሔርን ነው እንጂ።

say , the holy spirit has brought it down duly from your lord to fortify those who have faith and as guidance and good news for the muslims .
እነዚያን ያመኑትን ለማረጋጋት ሙስሊሞቹንም ለመምራትና ለማብሰር ( ቁርኣንን ) ቅዱሱ መንፈስ ( ጂብሪል ) እውነተኛ ሲኾን ከጌታህ አወረደው በላቸው ፡ ፡

say , the holy spirit has brought the revelation from thy lord in truth , in order to strengthen those who believe , and as a guide and glad tidings to muslims .
እነዚያን ያመኑትን ለማረጋጋት ሙስሊሞቹንም ለመምራትና ለማብሰር ( ቁርኣንን ) ቅዱሱ መንፈስ ( ጂብሪል ) እውነተኛ ሲኾን ከጌታህ አወረደው በላቸው ፡ ፡

say thou : the holy spirit hath brought it down from thy lord with truth , that it may establish those who believe , and as a guidance and glad tidings unto the muslims .
እነዚያን ያመኑትን ለማረጋጋት ሙስሊሞቹንም ለመምራትና ለማብሰር ( ቁርኣንን ) ቅዱሱ መንፈስ ( ጂብሪል ) እውነተኛ ሲኾን ከጌታህ አወረደው በላቸው ፡ ፡

to jesus , the son of mary , we gave the miracles and supported him by the holy spirit . why do you arrogantly belie some messengers and murder others whenever they have brought you messages that you dislike ?
ሙሳንም መጽሐፍን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከበኋላውም መልክትኞችን አስከታተልን ፡ ፡ የመርየምን ልጅ ዒሳንም ግልጽ ታምራቶችን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ በቅዱሱ መንፈስም አበረታነው ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻችሁ በማትወደው ነገር መልክተኛ በመጣላችሁ ቁጥር ( ከመከተል ) ትኮራላችሁን ? ከፊሉን አስተባበላችሁ ፤ ከፊሉንም ትገድላላችሁ ፡ ፡

say , " the holy spirit has brought it down as truth from your lord , so that he may strengthen those who believe , and also as guidance and as good tidings for those who submit . "
እነዚያን ያመኑትን ለማረጋጋት ሙስሊሞቹንም ለመምራትና ለማብሰር ( ቁርኣንን ) ቅዱሱ መንፈስ ( ጂብሪል ) እውነተኛ ሲኾን ከጌታህ አወረደው በላቸው ፡ ፡

we gave jesus , son of mary , clear signs and strengthened him with the holy spirit . but , whenever a messenger came to you with something which you did not desire , you grew arrogant , calling some liars and slaying others .
ሙሳንም መጽሐፍን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከበኋላውም መልክትኞችን አስከታተልን ፡ ፡ የመርየምን ልጅ ዒሳንም ግልጽ ታምራቶችን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ በቅዱሱ መንፈስም አበረታነው ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻችሁ በማትወደው ነገር መልክተኛ በመጣላችሁ ቁጥር ( ከመከተል ) ትኮራላችሁን ? ከፊሉን አስተባበላችሁ ፤ ከፊሉንም ትገድላላችሁ ፡ ፡

and we gave jesus son of mary the clear proofs , and we supported him with the holy spirit . is it that whenever a messenger comes to you with anything your souls do not desire , you grew arrogant , calling some impostors , and killing others ?
ሙሳንም መጽሐፍን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከበኋላውም መልክትኞችን አስከታተልን ፡ ፡ የመርየምን ልጅ ዒሳንም ግልጽ ታምራቶችን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ በቅዱሱ መንፈስም አበረታነው ፡ ፡ ነፍሶቻችሁ በማትወደው ነገር መልክተኛ በመጣላችሁ ቁጥር ( ከመከተል ) ትኮራላችሁን ? ከፊሉን አስተባበላችሁ ፤ ከፊሉንም ትገድላላችሁ ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , say , " the holy spirit has brought the quran from your lord to you in all truth to strengthen the faith of the believers and to be a guide and glad news for the muslims " .
እነዚያን ያመኑትን ለማረጋጋት ሙስሊሞቹንም ለመምራትና ለማብሰር ( ቁርኣንን ) ቅዱሱ መንፈስ ( ጂብሪል ) እውነተኛ ሲኾን ከጌታህ አወረደው በላቸው ፡ ፡

( recall ) how i supported you by the holy spirit , made you speak to people from your cradle and when you grew up , taught you the book , gave you wisdom , the torah , and the gospel . ( recall ) when , by my will , you made a sculpture of a bird out of clay , blew into it , and it turned into a real bird by my will .
አላህ በሚል ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ - « የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ ሆይ ! በአንተና በእናትህ ላይ ( የዋልኩላችሁን ) ጸጋዬን አስታውስ ፡ ፡ በሕፃንነትና በከፈኒሳነት ( የበሰለ ሰው ኾነህ ) ሰዎችን የምትናገር ስትኾን በቅዱስ መንፈስ ( በገብሬል ) ባበረታሁህ ጊዜ ፤ ጽሕፈትንና ጥበብንም ተውራትንና ኢንጂልንም ባስተማርኩህ ጊዜ ፣ ከጭቃም የወፍ ቅርጽ ብጤ በፈቃዴ በምትሠራና በውስጧ በምትነፋ በፈቃዴም ወፍ በምትኾን ጊዜ ፣ ዕውርም ኾኖ የተወለደንና ለምጻምንም በፈቃዴ በምታሽር ጊዜ ፣ ሙታንንም በፈቃዴ ( ከመቃብራቸው ) በምታወጣ ጊዜ ፣ የእስራኤልንም ልጆች በተአምራት በመጣህባቸውና ከእነሱ እነዚያ የካዱት ይህ ግልጽ ድግምት እንጅ ሌላ አይደለም ባሉ ጊዜ ፣ ( ሊገድሉህ ሲያስቡህ ) ከአንተ ላይ በከለከልኩልህም ጊዜ ( ያደረግሁልህን ውለታ አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ »
