will you dispute with him concerning what he saw ?
ታዲያ በሚያየው ላይ ትከራከሩታላችሁን ?

and if he had forged concerning us some discourses .
በእኛ ላይም ከፊልን ቃላት ( ያላልነውን ) በቀጠፈ ኖሮ ፤

a questioner questioned concerning the doom about to fall
ወዳቂ ከኾነው ቅጣት ጠያቂ ጠየቀ ፡ ፡

and if he had invented false sayings concerning us ,
በእኛ ላይም ከፊልን ቃላት ( ያላልነውን ) በቀጠፈ ኖሮ ፤

they ask you concerning the hour , “ when will it set in ,
« ከሰዓቲቱ መቼ ነው መኾኛዋ ? » ሲሉ ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡

a questioner asked concerning a torment about to befall
ወዳቂ ከኾነው ቅጣት ጠያቂ ጠየቀ ፡ ፡

o human ! what has deceived you concerning your generous lord
አንተ ሰው ሆይ ! በቸሩ ጌታህ ምን አታለለህ ?

he is not questioned concerning what he does , but they are questioned .
ከሚሠራው ሁሉ አይጠየቅም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( ፍጥረቶቹ ) ግን ይጠየቃሉ ፡ ፡

o man ! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy lord , the bountiful ,
አንተ ሰው ሆይ ! በቸሩ ጌታህ ምን አታለለህ ?

a people before you questioned concerning them , then disbelieved in them .
ከናንተም በፊት ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ጠየቋት ፡ ፡ ከዚያም በእርሷ ( ምክንያት ) ከሓዲዎች ኾኑ ፡ ፡

he cannot be questioned concerning what he does and they shall be questioned .
ከሚሠራው ሁሉ አይጠየቅም ፡ ፡ እነርሱ ( ፍጥረቶቹ ) ግን ይጠየቃሉ ፡ ፡

and that those who argue concerning our revelations may know they have no refuge .
( ከእነርሱ ለመበቀል ) ፤ እነዚያንም በአንቀጾቻችን የሚከራከሩትን ለማወቅ ( ያጠፋቸዋል ) ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱ ምንም መሸሻ የላቸውም ፡ ፡
