እነርሱ ምርመራን የማይፈሩ ነበሩና ፡ ፡

this is an account of the mercy of your lord to his servant zechariah
( ይህ ) ጌታህ ባሪያውን ዘከሪያን በችሮታው ያወሳበት ነው ፡ ፡

this is an account of your lord 's mercy bestowed upon his servant zachariah ,
( ይህ ) ጌታህ ባሪያውን ዘከሪያን በችሮታው ያወሳበት ነው ፡ ፡

and they ask you about zulqarnain . say : i will recite to you an account of him .
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

[ this is ] an account of your lord s mercy ’ on his servant , zechariah ,
( ይህ ) ጌታህ ባሪያውን ዘከሪያን በችሮታው ያወሳበት ነው ፡ ፡

that is an account of some towns which we recount to you . of them some are still standing and some have been mown down .
ይህ ( የተነገረው ) ከከተሞቹ ወሬዎች ነው ፡ ፡ ባንተ ላይ እንተርከዋለን ፡ ፡ ከእርሷ ፋናው የቀረና ሙሉ በሙሉ የተደመሰሰ አለ ፡ ፡

he does take an account of them ( all ) , and hath numbered them ( all ) exactly .
በእርግጥ ( በዕውቀቱ ) ከቧቸዋል ፡ ፡ መቁጠርንም ቆጥሯቸዋል ፡ ፡

the land of god is vast . god will recompense the deeds of those who have exercised patience , without keeping an account " .
( ጌታችሁ ) « እናንተ ያመናችሁ ባሮቼ ሆይ ! ጌታችሁን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ለነዚያ በዚህች በቅርቢቱ ዓለም መልካም ለሠሩት መልካም ምንዳ አላቸው ፡ ፡ የአላህ ምድርም ሰፊ ናት ፤ ( ብትቸገሩ ተሰደዱ ) ፡ ፡ ታጋሾቹ ምንዳቸውን የሚሰጡት ያለግምት ነው » ( ይላል ) በላቸው ፡ ፡

relate to them an account of him to whom we gave our signs , but he cast them off . thereupon satan pursued him , and he became one of the perverse .
የዚያንም ተዓምራታችንን የሰጠነውንና ከእርሷ የወጣውን ሰይጣንም ያስከተለውን ከጠማሞቹም የኾነውን ሰው ወሬ በእነርሱ ላይ አንብብላቸው ፡ ፡

this is an account of the unseen , which we reveal to you . you were not with them when they drew lots as to which of them should be mary 's guardian and you were not with them when they disputed with one another .
ይኸ ወደ አንተ የምናወርደው የኾነ ከሩቅ ወሬዎች ነው ፡ ፡ መርየምንም ማን እንደሚያሳድግ ብርኦቻቸውን ( ለዕጣ ) በጣሉ ጊዜ እነሱ ዘንድ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ በሚከራከሩም ጊዜ እነሱ ዘንድ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡

and he called him, and said unto him, how is it that i hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
ጠርቶም። ይህ የምሰማብህ ምንድር ነው? ወደ ፊት ለእኔ መጋቢ ልትሆን አትችልምና የመጋቢነትህን ሂሳብ አስረክበኝ አለው።

prophet and believers , if you want to divorce your wives , you should divorce them at a time after which they can start their waiting period . let them keep an account of the number of the days in the waiting period .
አንተ ነቢዩ ሆይ ! ሴቶችን መፍታት ባሰባችሁ ጊዜ ፤ ለዒዳቸው ፍቱዋቸው ፡ ፡ ዒዳንም ቁጠሩ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ጌታችሁን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ግልጽ የኾነችን ጠያፍ ካልሠሩ በስተቀር ከቤቶቻቸው አታውጡዋቸው ፤ አይውጡም ፡ ፡ ይህችም የአላህ ሕግጋት ናት ፡ ፡ የአላህንም ሕግጋት የተላለፈ ሰው በእርግጥ ነፍሱን በደለ ፡ ፡ ከዚህ ( ፍች ) በኋላ አላህ ( የመማለስ ) ነገርን ምናልባት ያመጣ እንደኾነ አታውቅም ፡ ፡

( o muhammad ) , they ask you about dhu al-qarnayn . say : " i will give you an account of him . "
ከዙልቀርነይንም ይጠይቁሃል ፡ ፡ « በእናንተ ላይ ከእርሱ ወሬን አነባለሁ ፤ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

it is we indeed who bring back the dead to life , and write down what they send ahead ( of their deeds ) , and traces that they leave behind . we keep an account of all things in a lucid register .
እኛ ሙታንን እኛ በእርግጥ ሕያው እናደርጋለን ፡ ፡ ያስቀደሙትንም ሥራ ፈለጎቻቸውንም እንጽፋለን ፡ ፡ ነገሩንም ሁሉ ገላጭ መሪ በኾነ መጽሐፍ ውስጥ አጠቃለልነው ፡ ፡

( it will be said to him : ) " read thine ( own ) record : sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee . "
« መጽሐፍህን አንብብ ፡ ፡ ዛሬ ባንተ ላይ ተቆጣጣሪነት በነፍስህ በቃ » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡
