that ye exceed not the measure ,
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

the sight did not waver , nor did it exceed .
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

neither did sight falter nor exceed the bounds .
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

the eye did not turn aside , nor did it exceed the limit .
ዓይኑ ( ካየው ) አልተዘነበለም ፡ ፡ ወሰንም አላለፈም ፡ ፡

but those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors ; -
ከዚህም ወዲያ የፈለጉ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

but whoever seeks to go beyond that , these are they that exceed the limits ;
ከዚህም ወዲያ የፈለጉ ሰዎች እነዚያ እነርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

should we have withdrawn the reminder from you as you are a people who exceed the bounds ?
ድንበር አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ለመኾናችሁ ቁርኣኑን ከእናንተ ማገድን እናግዳለን ?

call on your lord humbly and secretly ; surely he does not love those who exceed the limits .
ጌታችሁን ተዋርዳችሁ በድብቅም ለምኑት ፡ ፡ እርሱ ወሰን አላፊዎችን አይወድምና ፡ ፡

you approach men lustfully in place of women . you are a people who exceed all bounds . '
« እናንተ ከሴቶች ሌላ ወንዶችን በመከጀል በእርግጥ ትመጡባቸዋላችሁ ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰንን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ »

leaving the consorts your lord has made for you ? but you are a people who exceed the bounds . "
« ከሚስቶቻችሁም ጌታችሁ ለናንተ የፈጠረላችሁን ትተዋላችሁን በእውነቱ እናንተ ወሰን አላፊዎች ሕዝቦ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ »

and those who , when spending , neither exceed the limits nor act miserly , and stay in moderation between the two .
እነዚያም በለገሱ ጊዜ የማያባክኑ የማይቆጥቡትም ናቸው ፡ ፡ በዚህም መካከል ( ልግስናቸው ) ትክክለኛ የኾነ ነው ፡ ፡

they said , ‘ our lord ! we are indeed afraid that he will forestall us or will exceed all bounds . ’
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! እኛ በእኛ ላይ ክፋት በመሥራት መቸኮሉን ወይም ኩራትን መጨመሩን እንፈራለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

allah knoweth that which each female beareth and that which the wombs want and that which they exceed , and with him everything is in due measure :
አላህ ሴት ሁሉ የምታረግዘውን ያውቃል ፡ ፡ ማሕጸኖችም የሚያጎድሉትን የሚጨምሩትንም ( ያውቃል ) ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ እርሱ ዘንድ በልክ የተወሰነ ነው ፡ ፤

allah knows what every female carries and what the wombs lose [ prematurely ] or exceed . and everything with him is by due measure .
አላህ ሴት ሁሉ የምታረግዘውን ያውቃል ፡ ፡ ማሕጸኖችም የሚያጎድሉትን የሚጨምሩትንም ( ያውቃል ) ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ እርሱ ዘንድ በልክ የተወሰነ ነው ፡ ፤

and do not wish for that by which allah has made some of you exceed others . for men is a share of what they have earned , and for women is a share of what they have earned .
አላህም ከፊላችሁን በከፊሉ ላይ በእርሱ ያበለጠበትን ጸጋ አትመኙ ፡ ፡ ለወንዶች ከሠሩት ሥራ እድል አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለሴቶችም ከሠሩት ሥራ ዕድል አላቸው ፡ ፡ አላህንም ከችሮታው ለምኑት ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነው ፡ ፡

there is no doubt that those whom you call me to have no claim to be called upon in this world and in the hereafter . certainly to allah shall be our return , and those who exceed the limits are destined to the fire .
« በእርግጥ ወደእርሱ የምትጠሩብኝ ( ጣዖት ) ለእርሱ በቅርቢቱም ኾነ በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ( ተሰሚ ) ጥሪ የለውም ፡ ፡ መመለሻችንም በእርግጥ ወደ አላህ ነው ፡ ፡ ወሰን አላፊዎቹም እነሱ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

' o our lord , ' said moses and aaron , ' truly we fear he may exceed against us , or wax insolent . '
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! እኛ በእኛ ላይ ክፋት በመሥራት መቸኮሉን ወይም ኩራትን መጨመሩን እንፈራለን » አሉ ፡ ፡

god is cognisant of what every female carries in her womb , or what the wombs want or exceed ( of their disburdening time ) . with him all things are in determined measure .
አላህ ሴት ሁሉ የምታረግዘውን ያውቃል ፡ ፡ ማሕጸኖችም የሚያጎድሉትን የሚጨምሩትንም ( ያውቃል ) ፡ ፡ ነገሩም ሁሉ እርሱ ዘንድ በልክ የተወሰነ ነው ፡ ፤

do not exceed the bounds in your religion , and do not attribute anything to allah except the truth . the messiah , jesus son of mary , was only an apostle of allah , and his word that he cast toward mary and a spirit from him .
እናንተ የመጽሐፉ ሰዎች ሆይ ! በሃይማኖታችሁ ወሰንን አትለፉ ፡ ፡ በአላህም ላይ እውነትን እንጅ አትናገሩ ፡ ፡ የመርየም ልጅ አልመሲሕ ዒሳ የአላህ መልክተኛ ወደ መርየም የጣላት « የኹን » ቃሉም ከእርሱ የኾነ መንፈስም ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ በአላህና በመልክተኞቹም እመኑ ፡ ፡ « ( አማልክት ) ሦስት ናቸው » አትበሉም ፡ ፡ ተከልከሉ ፤ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ይኾናልና ፡ ፡ አላህ አንድ አምላክ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ለእርሱ ልጅ ያለው ከመኾን የጠራ ነው ፡ ፡ በሰማያትና በምድር ያለ ሁሉ የርሱ ነው ፡ ፡ መመኪያም በአላህ በቃ ፡ ፡

' eat of the good things wherewith we have provided you ; but exceed not therein , or my anger shall alight on you ; and on whomsoever my anger alights , that man is hurled to ruin .
ከሰጠናችሁ ሲሳይ ፤ ከመልካሙ ብሉ ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ወሰንን አትለፉ ፡ ፡ ቁጣዬ በእናንተ ላይ ይወርድባችኋልና ፡ ፡ በእርሱም ላይ ቁጣዬ የሚወርድበት ሰው በእርግጥ ይጠፋል ፡ ፡
