በከዋክብትም መመልከትን ተመለከተ ፡ ፡

and he took it, and did eat before them.
ተቀብሎም በፊታቸው በላ።

and good things in which they took delight .
በእርሷ ተደሳቾች ከነበሩባትም ድሎት ( ብዙን ነገር ተዉ ) ፡ ፡

and pleasant things wherein they took delight !
በእርሷ ተደሳቾች ከነበሩባትም ድሎት ( ብዙን ነገር ተዉ ) ፡ ፡

and the life of ease in which they took delight !
በእርሷ ተደሳቾች ከነበሩባትም ድሎት ( ብዙን ነገር ተዉ ) ፡ ፡

but we saved those who believed and took heed for themselves .
እነዚያንም ያመኑትንና ይጠነቀቁ የነበሩትን አዳንናቸው ፡ ፡

but they called their companion who took a sword and hamstrung her .
ጓደኛቸውንም ጠሩ ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ( ሰይፍን ) ተቀበለ ፡ ፡ ወጋትም ፡ ፡

and we took him into our mercy ; surely he was of the good .
በችሮታችንም ውስጥ አገባነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ከመልካሞቹ ነውና ፡ ፡

and belied was musa . i gave rein to the infidels ; then took hold of them ; so how hath been my wrath !
የመድየንም ሰዎች ( አስተባብለዋል ) ፡ ፡ ሙሳም ተስተባብሏል ፡ ፡ ለከሓዲዎቹም ጊዜ ሰጠኋቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ያዝቸው ፡ ፡ ጥላቻዬም እንዴት ነበረ !

and none made me forget it except satan - that i should mention it . and it took its course into the sea amazingly " .
« አየህን ወደ ቋጥኝዋ በተጠጋን ጊዜ እኔ ዐሣውን ረሳሁ ፡ ፡ ማስታወሱንም ሰይጣን እንጂ ሌላ አላስረሳኝም ፡ ፡ በባሕሩም ውስጥ መንገዱን አስደናቂ ( መንገድ ) አድርጎ ያዘ » አለ ፡ ፡

and when they provoked our wrath , we took retribution from them , and we drowned them all .
ባስቆጡንም ጊዜ ከእነርሱ በተበቀለን ፡ ፡ ሁሉንም አሰጠምናቸውም ፡ ፡

and rebelled against their lord 's messenger . so he took them with a stern taking .
የጌታቸውንም መልእክተኛ ትዕዛዝ ጣሱ ፡ ፡ የበረታችንም አያያዝ ያዛቸው ፡ ፡

and assuredly mocked were apostles before thee ; then i respited those who disbelieved ; thereafter took hold of them ; so of what wise hath been my requital .
ከአንተ በፊት በነበሩትም መልክተኞች በእርግጥ ተላግጦባቸዋል ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ለካዱት ጊዜን ሰጠኋቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( በቅጣት ) ያዝኩዋቸው ፡ ፡ ቅጣቴም እንዴት ነበር !

he said , ‘ i saw what they did not see . i took a handful [ of dust ] from the messenger s trail ’ and threw it .
ያላዩትን ነገር አየሁ ፡ ፡ ከመልክተኛው ( ከፈረሱ ኮቴ ) ዱካም ጭብጥ አፈርን ዘገንኩ ፡ ፡ ( በቅርጹ ላይ ) ጣልኳትም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ነፍሴ ሸለመችልኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

so we took retribution from them , and indeed , both [ cities ] are on a clear highway .
ከነሱም ተበቀልን ሁለቱም ( የሉጥና የአይከት ሕዝቦች ከተሞች ) በእርግጥ በግልጽ መንገድ ላይ ናቸው ፡ ፡

but they called their companion , so he took ( the sword ) and slew ( her ) .
ጓደኛቸውንም ጠሩ ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ( ሰይፍን ) ተቀበለ ፡ ፡ ወጋትም ፡ ፡

( samiri ) said : " i saw what they saw not , so i took a handful ( of dust ) from the hoof print of the messenger [ jibrael 's ( gabriel ) horse ] and threw it [ into the fire in which were put the ornaments of the fir 'aun 's ( pharaoh ) people , or into the calf ] . thus my inner-self suggested to me . "
ያላዩትን ነገር አየሁ ፡ ፡ ከመልክተኛው ( ከፈረሱ ኮቴ ) ዱካም ጭብጥ አፈርን ዘገንኩ ፡ ፡ ( በቅርጹ ላይ ) ጣልኳትም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ነፍሴ ሸለመችልኝ » አለ ፡ ፡
