ግን የታላቅ ጌታውን ውዴታ ለመፈለግ ( ይህንን ሠራ ) ፡ ፡

and by oath of the groups that read the qur an ’ .
ቁርኣንንም በሚያነቡት እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

and those who read ( the word ) for a reminder ,
ቁርኣንንም በሚያነቡት እምላለሁ ፡ ፡

yet still abides the face of thy lord , majestic , splendid .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

and the face of your lord full of majesty and honour will abide forever .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

lo ! therein verily are portents for those who read the signs .
በዚህ ውስጥ ለተመልካቾች በእርግጥ መገምገሚያዎች አሉበት ፡ ፡

and there will remain the face of your lord , owner of majesty and honor .
የልቅናና የልግሥና ባለቤት የኾነው የጌታህ ፊትም ይቀራል ፡ ፡ ( አይጠፋም ) ፡ ፡

do you admonish others to do good and forget this yourselves ? yet you read the book .
እናንተ መጽሐፉን የምታነቡ ሆናችሁ ሰዎችን በበጎ ሥራ ታዛላችሁን ? ነፍሶቻችሁንም ትረሳላችሁን ? ( የሥራችሁን መጥፎነት ) አታውቁምን ?

and when thou wouldst read the qur 'an seek refuge with allah from satan the damned .
ቁርኣንንም ባነበብህ ጊዜ እርጉም ከኾነው ሰይጣን በአላህ ተጠበቅ ፡ ፡

to allah belong the east and the west . whichever way you turn , there is the face of allah .
ምሥራቁም ምዕራቡም የአላህ ነው ( ፊቶቻችሁን ) ወደ የትም ብታዞሩ የአላህ ፊት እዚያ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ችሮታው ሰፊ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡

and i wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
መጽሐፉን ሊዘረጋ ወይም ሊመለከተው የሚገባው ማንም ስላልተገኘ እጅግ አለቀስሁ።

' we feed you only for the face of god ; we desire no recompense from you , no thankfulness ;
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

ወደ አንተም ካወረድነው በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ብትሆን እነዚያን ከአንተ በፊት መጽሐፉን የሚያነቡትን ጠይቅ ፡ ፡ እውነቱ ከጌታህ ዘንድ በእርግጥ መጥቶልሃል ፡ ፡ ከተጠራጣሪዎቹም አትሁን ፡ ፡

and give to the kinsman his due , and to the needy , and to the destitute traveler . that is best for those who desire the face of allah ; such will surely prosper .
የዝምድናን ባለቤት ተገቢውን ስጠው ፡ ፡ ለድኻም ለመንገደኛም ( እርዳ ) ፡ ፡ ይህ ለእነዚያ የአላህን ፊት ( ውዴታውን ) ለሚሹ መልካም ነው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም እነርሱ የፈለጉትን የሚያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

( saying ) : ' we feed you only desirous of the face of allah ; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks ,
« የምናበላችሁ ለአላህ ውዴታ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ከእናንተ ዋጋንም ማመስገንንም አንፈልግም ፡ ፡

( the clear proof is ) the noble messenger from allah , who reads the pure pages .
( አስረጁም ) ከአላህ የኾነ መልክተኛ የተጥራሩን መጽሐፎች የሚያነብ ነው ፡ ፡

" go with this my shirt , and cast it over the face of my father : he will come to see ( clearly ) . then come ye ( here ) to me together with all your family . "
« ይህንን ቀሚሴን ይዛችሁ ሊዱ ፡ ፡ በአባቴ ፊትም ጣሉት የሚያይ ሆኖ ይመጣልና ፡ ፡ ቤተሰቦቻችሁንም ሰብስባችሁ አምጡልኝ » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
