በእነርሱ ላይ ከጭቃ የኾኑን ድንጋዮች ልንለቅባቸው ( ተላክን ) ፡ ፡

pearls and coral-stone come forth from them .
ሉልና መርጃን ከሁለቱ ይወጣል ፡ ፡

ድንጋዩንም ከመቃብሩ ተንከባሎ አገኙት፥

ልክ ያቁትና መርጃን ይመስላሉ ፡ ፡

i have taken refuge in my lord and your lord , lest you stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and i take refuge in my lord and your lord , lest you should stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and verily i have sought refuge in my lord and your lord lest ye stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and indeed , i have sought refuge in my lord and your lord , lest you stone me .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and lo ! i have sought refuge in my lord and your lord lest ye stone me to death .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

i have sought refuge with my lord and your lord lest you stone me [ to death ] .
« እኔም እንዳትወግሩኝ በጌታየና በጌታችሁ ተጠብቂያለሁ ፡ ፡

and he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,
ከእነርሱም የድንጋይ ውርወራ የሚያህል ራቀ፥ ተንበርክኮም። አባት ሆይ፥

tell them : " ( you will be raised afresh even if ) you turn to stone or iron ,
በላቸው « ድንጋዮችን ወይም ብረትን ሁኑ »

በሐዋርያትና በነቢያት መሠረት ላይ ታንጻችኋል፥ የማዕዘኑም ራስ ድንጋይ ክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ ነው፤

and when our command came , we turned it upside down , and rained on it , stone after stone of baked clay ,

his disciples say unto him, master, the jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?
ደቀ መዛሙርቱ። መምህር ሆይ፥ አይሁድ ከጥቂት ጊዜ በፊት ሊወግሩህ ይፈልጉ ነበር፥ ደግሞም ወደዚያ ትሄዳለህን? አሉት።

አላህ ቅንጣትንና የፍሬን አጥንት ፈልቃቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ሕያውን ከሙት ያወጣል ፤ ሙትንም ከሕያው አውጪ ነው ፡ ፡ እርሱ አላህ ነው ፤ ታዲያ ( ከእምነት ) እንዴት ትመለሳላችሁ ( ትርቃላችሁ )

[ his father ] said , " do you reject my deities , abraham ? if you do not desist , i shall surely stone you to death .
( አባቱም ) « ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! አንተ አምላኮቼን ትተህ የምትዞር ነህን ባትከለከል በእርግጥ እወግርሃለሁ ፡ ፡ ረዥም ጊዜንም ተወኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

" to bring on , on them , ( a shower of ) stones of clay ( brimstone ) ,
በእነርሱ ላይ ከጭቃ የኾኑን ድንጋዮች ልንለቅባቸው ( ተላክን ) ፡ ፡
