ከሞት ወይም ከመገደል ብትሸሹ መሸሻችሁ ፈጽሞ አይጠቅማችሁም ፡ ፡ ያን ጊዜም ጥቂትን እንጂ የምትጣቀሙ አትደረጉም በላቸው ፡ ፡

and if an entrance had been forced against them from its quarters , and then they had been asked to incite , they would have done so , and remained in it ( the city ) but a little ( time ) .
በእነርሱም ላይ ( ቤቶቻቸው ) ከየቀበሌዋ በተገባባት ከዚያም ከኢስላም መመለስን በተጠየቁ ኖሮ በሠሯት ነበር ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ጥቂትን ጊዜ እንጂ አይቆዩም ነበር ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , warn the people of the day when torment will approach them and the unjust will say , " lord , give us respite for a little time so that we may answer your call and follow the messengers . " ( the answer to their prayer will be ) , " did you not swear before that you would never perish ?
ሰዎችንም ቅጣቱ የሚመጣባቸውን ቀን አስፈራራቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም የበደሉት « ጌታችን ሆይ ! ወደ ቅርበ ጊዜ ድረስ አቆየን ፡ ፡ ጥሪህን እንቀበላለንና መልክተኞቹንም እንከተላለንና » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « ከአሁን በፊት ( በምድረ ዓለም ) ለእናንተ ምንም መወገድ የላችሁም በማለት የማላችሁ አልነበራችሁምን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡
