this is what you used to doubt .
« ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትጠራጠሩበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

surely this is what you disputed about .
« ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትጠራጠሩበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and his comrade shall say , ' this is what i have , made ready . '
ቁራኛውም ( መልአክ ) « ይህ ያ እኔ ዘንድ ያለው ቀራቢ ነው » ይላል ፡ ፡

then told , ‘ this is what you used to deny ! ’
ከዚያም « ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ይባላሉ ፡ ፡

' this is what you are promised on the day of recompense ,
ይህ ለምርመራው ቀን የምትቀጠሩት ተሰፋ ነው ፡ ፡

" truly this is what ye used to doubt ! "
« ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትጠራጠሩበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

it will then be said , “ this is what you used to deny . ”
ከዚያም « ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ይባላሉ ፡ ፡

' this is what you were promised for the day of reckoning ;
ይህ ለምርመራው ቀን የምትቀጠሩት ተሰፋ ነው ፡ ፡

and his companions shall say : this is what is ready with me .
ቁራኛውም ( መልአክ ) « ይህ ያ እኔ ዘንድ ያለው ቀራቢ ነው » ይላል ፡ ፡

they will then be told : " this is what you had denied . "
ከዚያም « ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ይባላሉ ፡ ፡

" taste your trial . this is what you sought to hasten . "
« መከራችሁን ቅመሱ ፤ ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትቻኮሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

then , it will be said to them : " this is what you used to deny ! "
ከዚያም « ይህ ያ በእርሱ ታስተባብሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ይባላሉ ፡ ፡

this is what you were promised -- this is for everyone who often turned to god and kept him in mind ,
« ይህ ወደ አላህ ተመላሽና ( ሕግጋቱን ) ጠባቂ ለኾነ ሁሉ የተቀጠራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

" this is what we rehearse unto thee of the signs and the message of wisdom . "
ይህ ከተዓምራቶችና ጥበብን ከያዘው ተግሳጽ ሲኾን በአንተ ላይ እናነበዋለን ፡ ፡

he said , “ this is what we were seeking . ” and so they turned back retracing their steps .
( ሙሳም ) ይህ እንፈልገው የነበርነው ነው አለው ፡ ፡ በፈለጎቻቸውም ላይ እየተከተሉ ተመለሱ ፡ ፡

" taste ye your trial ! this is what ye used to ask to be hastened ! "
« መከራችሁን ቅመሱ ፤ ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትቻኮሉበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

said he , ' this is what we were seeking ! ' and so they returned upon their tracks , retracing them .
( ሙሳም ) ይህ እንፈልገው የነበርነው ነው አለው ፡ ፡ በፈለጎቻቸውም ላይ እየተከተሉ ተመለሱ ፡ ፡

and ( the human being will be told ) , " this is what you had been trying to run away from " .
የሞትም መከራ እውነቱን ነገር ታመጣለች ፡ ፡ ( ሰው ሆይ ) ፡ - « ይህ ያ ከርሱ ትሸሸው የነበርከው ነው » ( ይባላል ) ፡ ፡

so when they will see it close , the faces of the disbelievers will become ghastly , and it will be declared , “ this is what you were demanding . ”
( ቅጣቱን ) ቅርብ ኾኖ ባዩትም ጊዜ የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ፊቶች ይክከፋሉ ፡ ፡ « ይህ ያ በእርሱ ትከራከሩበት የነበራችሁት ነው » ይባላሉም ፡ ፡

( and they will be told ) , " this is what you were promised . it is for everyone who turned in repentance to god , kept his promise ,
« ይህ ወደ አላህ ተመላሽና ( ሕግጋቱን ) ጠባቂ ለኾነ ሁሉ የተቀጠራችሁት ነው » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡
