into your heart , so that you may be a warner ,
ከአስፈራሪዎቹ ( ነቢያት ) ትኾን ዘንድ በልብህ ላይ ( አወረደው ) ፡ ፡

it is revealed unto me only that i may be a plain warner .
« ወደእኔም አስፈራሪ ገላጭ መኾኔ እንጂ ሌላ አይወረድልኝም » ( በል ) ፡ ፡

to ( communicate ) to your heart that you may be a warner
ከአስፈራሪዎቹ ( ነቢያት ) ትኾን ዘንድ በልብህ ላይ ( አወረደው ) ፡ ፡

we have sent you for no other reason but to be a bearer of glad news and warning .
አብሳሪና አስፈራሪም አድርገን እንጂ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

and i know not but that this may be a trial for you , and enjoyment for a while .
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

they have taken other gods instead of allah that they may be a source of strength for them .
ከአላህም ሌላ አማልክትን ለእነሱ መከበሪያ ( አማላጅ ) እንዲኾኑዋቸው ያዙ ፡ ፡

blessed is he who sent down the criterion to his servant that he may be a warner to all the nations .
ያ ፉርቃንን በባሪያው ላይ ለዓለማት አስፈራሪ ይኾን ዘንድ ያወረደው ( አምላክ ) ክብርና ጥራት ተገባው ፡ ፡

and they have chosen ( other ) gods beside allah that they may be a power for them .
ከአላህም ሌላ አማልክትን ለእነሱ መከበሪያ ( አማላጅ ) እንዲኾኑዋቸው ያዙ ፡ ፡

( muhammad ) , we have sent you for no other reason but to be a mercy for mankind .
( ሙሐመድ ሆይ ! ) ለዓለማትም እዝነት አድርገን እንጅ አልላክንህም ፡ ፡

and i do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time .
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

who is it that will lend allah a good loan , that he may multiply it for him and [ that ] there may be a noble reward for him ?
ያ ለአላህ መልካም ብድርን የሚያበድር ለእርሱም ( አላህ ) የሚያነባብርለት ሰው ማነው ? ለእርሱም መልካም ምንዳ አልለው ፡ ፡

allah promised you many acquisitions which you will take , then he hastened on this one for you and held back the hands of men from you , and that it may be a sign for the believers and that he may guide you on a right path .
አላህ ብዙዎችን ዘረፋዎች የምትወስዷቸው የኾኑን ተስፋ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ለእናንተ አስቸኮለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሰዎችን እጆች ከለከለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ልታመሰግኑትና ) ለምእምናንም ምልክት እንድትኾን ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ ይመራችሁም ዘንድ ( ይህንን ሠራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

and know not ; haply it may be a trial for you , and an enjoyment for a season .
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. for even christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
እንግዲህ ያለ እርሾ እንዳላችሁ አዲሱን ሊጥ ትሆኑ ዘንድ አሮጌውን እርሾ አስወግዱ። ፋሲካችን ክርስቶስ ታርዶአልና፤

allah has promised you abundant spoils that you will capture , and he has hastened for you this , and he has restrained the hands of men from you , that it may be a sign for the believers , and that he may guide you to a straight path .
አላህ ብዙዎችን ዘረፋዎች የምትወስዷቸው የኾኑን ተስፋ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ለእናንተ አስቸኮለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሰዎችን እጆች ከለከለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ልታመሰግኑትና ) ለምእምናንም ምልክት እንድትኾን ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ ይመራችሁም ዘንድ ( ይህንን ሠራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

slay yusuf or cast him ( forth ) into some land , so that your father 's regard may be exclusively for you , and after that you may be a righteous people .
« ዩሱፍን ግደሉ ፡ ፡ ወይም በ ( ሩቅ ) ምድር ላይ ጣሉት ፡ ፡ ያባታችሁ ፊት ለእናንተ የግል ይኾናልና ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም በኋላ መልካም ሕዝቦች ትሆናላችሁና » ( ተባባሉ ) ፡ ፡

allah has promised you abundant spoils , which you will capture . he has expedited this one for you , and withheld men ’ s hands from you , so that it may be a sign for the faithful , and that he may guide you to a straight path .
አላህ ብዙዎችን ዘረፋዎች የምትወስዷቸው የኾኑን ተስፋ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ለእናንተ አስቸኮለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሰዎችን እጆች ከለከለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ልታመሰግኑትና ) ለምእምናንም ምልክት እንድትኾን ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ ይመራችሁም ዘንድ ( ይህንን ሠራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

allah hath promised you abundant spoils that ye shall take , and these he hath hastened to you , and hath restrained the hands of people from you , that it may be a sign unto the believers , and that he may guide you to a straight path .
አላህ ብዙዎችን ዘረፋዎች የምትወስዷቸው የኾኑን ተስፋ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ለእናንተ አስቸኮለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሰዎችን እጆች ከለከለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ልታመሰግኑትና ) ለምእምናንም ምልክት እንድትኾን ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ ይመራችሁም ዘንድ ( ይህንን ሠራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

allah has promised you abundant spoils which you shall acquire . he has instantly granted you this ( victory ) and has restrained the hands of people from you that it may be a sign for the believers and he may guide you to a straight way .
አላህ ብዙዎችን ዘረፋዎች የምትወስዷቸው የኾኑን ተስፋ አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ይህችንም ለእናንተ አስቸኮለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም የሰዎችን እጆች ከለከለላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ልታመሰግኑትና ) ለምእምናንም ምልክት እንድትኾን ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ ይመራችሁም ዘንድ ( ይህንን ሠራላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

" i know not but that it may be a trial for you , and a grant of ( worldly ) livelihood ( to you ) for a time . "
እርሱም ( ቅጣትን ማቆየት ) ምናልባት ለእናንተ ፈተናና እስከ ጊዜው መጠቃቀሚያ እንደሆነም አላውቅም ፤ ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡
