near has come the reckoning for men, but they turn away in remissness.
그들에 대한 계산이 가까왔 으되 그들은 아직 깨닫지 못하고 등을 돌리도다

alas for men! no apostle ever came to them but they made fun of him.
가없은 종들이라 그들에게 선지자가 이를 때마다 그들은 조 롱할 뿐이었노라

so eat and graze your cattle. in this there are signs for men of understanding.
그것을 일용한 양식으로 섭 취하고 그리고 너희들의 가축을 길러라 실로 지혜가 있는 자를 위한 예중이 그 안에 있노라

eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity.
그것을 일용한 양식으로 섭 취하고 그리고 너희들의 가축을 길러라 실로 지혜가 있는 자를 위한 예중이 그 안에 있노라

it is god who alternates night and day. there is surely a lesson in this for men of sight.
하나님께서 밤과 낮을 서로 교체하시매 그안에는 지혜를 가 진 자들을 위해 교훈이 있노라

and indeed we have put forth for men, in this quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember.
하나님은 인간을 위하여 이 꾸란속에 모든 종류의 비유를 두 었나니 이로 하여 그들에게 교훈 이 되고자 함이라

allah turneth the night and the day over and over; verily therein is a lesson for men of insight.
하나님께서 밤과 낮을 서로 교체하시매 그안에는 지혜를 가 진 자들을 위해 교훈이 있노라

and certainly we have explained for men in this quran every kind of similitude, but most men do not consent to aught but denying.
실로 하나님은 이 꾸란에서 인간을 위하여 여러 가지 비유를 들어 설명하였으나 대다수의 사람들은 이를 거역하고 불신하더라

and (as for) these examples, we set them forth for men, and none understand them but the learned.
하나님이 비유를 드사 이것 은 온 백성을 위해서라 지혜 있는자들은 이해하리라

(saying): eat ye and feed your cattle. lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought.
그것을 일용한 양식으로 섭 취하고 그리고 너희들의 가축을 길러라 실로 지혜가 있는 자를 위한 예중이 그 안에 있노라

>from the fruit of the date palm and the grapes you derive intoxicants as well as wholesome food. surely in this there is a sign for men of understanding.
과일 중에는 종려나무 열매 와 포도나무가 있어 그로부터 마 실것과 일용할 양식을 얻나니 실 로 그 안에는 지혜가 있는 백성을위한 예증이 있노라

and of his signs are the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variation of your languages and complexions; verily herein are signs for men of knowledge.
천지를 창조하시고 너희의 언어들과 피부색을 달리 창조 하 셨음도 그분 예증의 하나이시니 실로 그 안에는 전 인류를 위한 예증이 있노라

and among his signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge.
천지를 창조하시고 너희의 언어들과 피부색을 달리 창조 하 셨음도 그분 예증의 하나이시니 실로 그 안에는 전 인류를 위한 예증이 있노라

for men is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, and for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much - an obligatory share.
부모와 가까운 친척이 남긴 재산은 남자에게 귀속하며 또한 부모와 가까운 친척이 남긴 재산 은 여자에게도 귀속되나니 남긴 것이 적던 또는 많던 합당한 몫이있노라

he has made subject to you the night and the day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by his command: verily in this are signs for men who are wise.
그분은 밤과 낮을 너희를 위해 교차하게 하사 태양과 달과 별들이 그분의 명령에 복종케 하 니 실로 그 안에는 백성이 알아야 할 예증이 있노라

and certainly we have set forth for men every kind of example in this quran; and if you should bring them a communication, those who disbelieve would certainly say: you are naught but false claimants.
하나님은 백성들을 위하여 이꾸란에 모든 종류의 비유를 들었노 라 그러나 그대가 어떤 예증을 그 들에게 보였다고 하더라도 그 불신 자들은 그대는 단지 거짓장이에 불 과하니 라고 말할 것이라

and the things on this earth which he has multiplied in varying colours (and qualities): verily in this is a sign for men who celebrate the praises of allah (in gratitude).
대지위에 창조한 모든 것들 을 여러 색깔로 하여 너희에게 유용케 하였으니 실로 그 안에는 백성이 염원해야 할 교훈이 있노 라
