너희 가운데 부유하고 신앙 이 두터운 여성과 결혼할 수 없는 자는 너희들의 오른손이 소유한 자들 가운데서 신앙심이 두터운 하녀들과 결혼함이 나으니라 하나 님은 너희들의 믿음을 잘 아시고 계시며 또한 너희는 아담의 한 자 손이라 그럼으로 그녀 보호자의 허락을 얻어 결혼하되 적절한 지 참금을 지불할 것이라 그들은 순 결하니 간음하지 말것이며 정부를두어서도 아니되거늘 만일 그녀들이 결혼해서 간음을 한다면 그녀 들에게는 자유 신분을 가진 여성 이 받은 벌의 절반이라 이것은 너희들 가운데 간음을 두려워하는 자를 위함이라 그러니 인내하라 그것이 너희에게 나으리라 하나님은 관용과 자비로 충만하심이라
