އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ފޭރާންކޮޅުތައް طاهر ކުރައްވާށެވެ!

and purify your clothing,
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ފޭރާންކޮޅުތައް طاهر ކުރައްވާށެވެ!

and made the night as clothing
އަދި ފޭރާމެއް ކަމުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ރޭގަނޑު ލެއްވީމެވެ.

o you who wraps himself [in clothing],
އޭ ފޭރާންތައް (ގައިކޮޅުގައި) އޮޅުއްވައިގެން އޮންނެވި ކަލޭގެފާނެވެ!

and their reward for being patient will be a garden and silk [clothing].
އެއުރެން ކެތްތެރިވިކަމަށްޓަކައި، ޖަޒާއެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި އެއުރެންނަށް ސުވަރުގެއާއި، ފަށުއި ފޭރާން ދެއްވިއެވެ.

and he created cattle; in them are warm clothing and uses for you, and you eat from them.
އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، نعم ސޫފި ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. ހީފިލުވުމާއި، އެހެނިހެން މަންފާތައް އެ ތަކެތީގައިވެއެވެ. އަދި އެ ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅެމުއެވެ.

he created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat.
އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، نعم ސޫފި ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. ހީފިލުވުމާއި، އެހެނިހެން މަންފާތައް އެ ތަކެތީގައިވެއެވެ. އަދި އެ ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅެމުއެވެ.

surely it is (ordained) for you that you shall not be hungry therein nor bare of clothing;
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށް އެތާނގައި ބަނޑުހައިވުމެއްނުވެތެވެ. އަދި އުނުއޮރިޔާންވުމެއްވެސް ނުމެވޭމެއެވެ.

we have provided you with clothing to cover your bodies, and for luxury. but the clothing of piety—that is best.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عورة ތައް ނިވައިކުރަނިވި ހެދުމާއި، ޒީނަތްތެރި ފޭރާން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި تقوى ގެ ފޭރާން މާހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އެކަންތައްތައްވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން ހަނދުމަ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

among the livestock are some for transportation, and some for clothing. eat of what god has provided for you, and do not follow the footsteps of satan.
އަދި نعم ސޫފީގެ ތެރެއިން، އެއްޗެތި އުފުލާ އުސްތަކެއްޗާއި، އަދި (އެކަމަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެން ނުވާ) ބިމަށްތިރި ތަކެތި، އެކަލާނގެ އުފެއްދެވިއެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް اللَّه ދެއްވި ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާށެވެ! އަދި شيطان އާގެ ފިޔަވަޅުތަކަށް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تبع ނުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ شيطان އާއަކީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކަނޑައެޅި ބަޔާންވެގެންހުރި عداوة ތެރިއެކެވެ.

and he created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat.
އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، نعم ސޫފި ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. ހީފިލުވުމާއި، އެހެނިހެން މަންފާތައް އެ ތަކެތީގައިވެއެވެ. އަދި އެ ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅެމުއެވެ.

children of adam, we have given you clothing to cover your private parts and for beauty, but the robe of piety is the best. thus is the guidance of god so that you may take heed.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عورة ތައް ނިވައިކުރަނިވި ހެދުމާއި، ޒީނަތްތެރި ފޭރާން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވީމެވެ. އަދި تقوى ގެ ފޭރާން މާހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. އެކަންތައްތައްވަނީ، اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެން ހަނދުމަ ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

elderly women who have no hope of getting married are allowed not to wear the kind of clothing that young woman must wear, as long as they do not show off their beauty. it is better for them if they maintain chastity.
ކާވެންޏަކަށް އެދުންނުވާ، މުސްކުޅި އަންހެނުން، ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ފާޅުނުކުރާގޮތުގައި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފޭރާން ލުއިކޮށްލުމަކުން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ކުށެއް ނެތެވެ. (ނަމަވެސް) އެކަނބަލުން عفة ތެރިވުން އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. اللَّه އީ، މޮޅަށް އައްސަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and the cattle, he has created them for you; in them there is warmth (warm clothing), and numerous benefits, and of them you eat.
އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި، نعم ސޫފި ހެއްދެވިއެވެ. ހީފިލުވުމާއި، އެހެނިހެން މަންފާތައް އެ ތަކެތީގައިވެއެވެ. އަދި އެ ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅެމުއެވެ.

god does not hold you accountable for your unintended oaths, but he holds you accountable for your binding oaths. the atonement for it is by feeding ten needy people from the average of what you feed your families, or by clothing them, or by freeing a slave.
قصد އަކާނުލައި، ބުނާ ބަސްތަކަކުން، اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عقوبات އެއް ނުދެއްވާނެތެވެ. (އެބަހީ: އާދައިގައި ވާހަކަދައްކާ އުޅޭއިރު، ހުވާކުރުމުގެ قصد އެއްނެތި، ހުވާގެ ގޮތުގައި ބުނެވޭ ބަހެއް ބޭނުންކުރުމަކީ ކުށެއް ނޫނެވެ.) އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، قصد ކޮށްގެންކުރާ ހުވާތަކާމެދު، އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖަޒާ ދެއްވާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ހުވާގެ كفّارة އަކީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަނބިދަރިންނަށް ކާންދީ އުޅޭ މެދުމިނުން، ދިހަ مسكين ންނަށް ކާންދިނުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންނަށް އަންނައުނު ދިނުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އަޅަކު މިނިވަންކުރުމެވެ. ފަހެ، (އެއިންކަމެއް ކުރަން) ނުލިބުނުމީހާ، ތިންދުވަހު ރޯދަޔަށް ހުރުމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހުވާކޮށްފި ހިނދެއްގައި (އެބަހީ: ހުވާކޮށް، އެ ހުވަޔާ خلاف ވެއްޖެ ހިނދެއްގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހުވާގެ كفّارة އެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހުވާތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެފަދައިން بيان ކޮށްދެއްވަތެވެ.

allah does not call you to account for what is vain in your oaths, but he calls you to account for the making of deliberate oaths; so its expiation is the feeding of ten poor men out of the middling (food) you feed your families with, or their clothing, or the freeing of a neck; but whosoever cannot find (means) then fasting for three days; this is the expiation of your oaths when you swear; and guard your oaths. thus does allah make clear to you his communications, that you may be fateful.
قصد އަކާނުލައި، ބުނާ ބަސްތަކަކުން، اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް عقوبات އެއް ނުދެއްވާނެތެވެ. (އެބަހީ: އާދައިގައި ވާހަކަދައްކާ އުޅޭއިރު، ހުވާކުރުމުގެ قصد އެއްނެތި، ހުވާގެ ގޮތުގައި ބުނެވޭ ބަހެއް ބޭނުންކުރުމަކީ ކުށެއް ނޫނެވެ.) އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، قصد ކޮށްގެންކުރާ ހުވާތަކާމެދު، އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ޖަޒާ ދެއްވާނެތެވެ. ފަހެ، ހުވާގެ كفّارة އަކީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަނބިދަރިންނަށް ކާންދީ އުޅޭ މެދުމިނުން، ދިހަ مسكين ންނަށް ކާންދިނުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންނަށް އަންނައުނު ދިނުމެވެ. ނުވަތަ އަޅަކު މިނިވަންކުރުމެވެ. ފަހެ، (އެއިންކަމެއް ކުރަން) ނުލިބުނުމީހާ، ތިންދުވަހު ރޯދަޔަށް ހުރުމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހުވާކޮށްފި ހިނދެއްގައި (އެބަހީ: ހުވާކޮށް، އެ ހުވަޔާ خلاف ވެއްޖެ ހިނދެއްގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހުވާގެ كفّارة އެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހުވާތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކުރުމަށްޓަކައި، اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެފަދައިން بيان ކޮށްދެއްވަތެވެ.
