whosoever disbelieveth, on him is his infidelity, and those who work righteously are preparing for themselves.
كافر ވި މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ كافر ކަން އޮންނާނީ، އޭނާގެ މައްޗަށެވެ. އަދި صالح عمل ކުޅަމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ نفس ތަކަށްޓަކައި އެއުރެން މަގު ހޯދައެވެ.

and we set it forth among them, that they may be admonished, but most men begrudge aught save infidelity.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެ ފެން، އެއުރެންގެ މެދުގައި، އެއްތަނުން އަނެއްތަނަށް ބަދަލުކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެއުރެން އެކަން ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. ފަހެ، މީސްތަކުންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެ، كافر ވުން މެނުވީ قبول އެއް ނުކުރޫއެވެ.

nay! allah hath cursed them because of their infidelity: little wherefore it is they believe.
އެއުރެން ބުނީ ތިމަންމެންގެ ހިތްތައްވަނީ އުރައެއްލެވި ބަންދުވެފައެވެ. އެހެނެއްނޫނެވެ. އެއުރެންގެ كافر ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، اللَّه އެއުރެންނަށް لعنة ލެއްވީއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން إيمان ވަނީ ވަރަށްވެސް ކުޑަކޮށެވެ.

and as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we apprehended that he might impose upon the twain exorbitance and infidelity.
އަދި އެ ފިރިހެންކުއްޖާއާމެދު ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ މައިންބަފައިންވީ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) مؤمن ން ކަމުގައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުން އުރެދި كافر ވާ ދަރަޖައަށް އެދެމީހުންނަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ އުނދަގޫކޮށް، އަނިޔާދީފާނެކަމަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުގަތީއެވެ.

already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންކުރެން ގިނަމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ކޯފާގެ ބަސްފުޅު حق ވެއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން إيمان އެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ.

nor would he command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords. would he command you to infidelity after you have submitted?
އަދި، ملائكة ންނާއި، ނަބިއްޔުންނީ، إله ން ކަމުގައި ހަދައިގެން އުޅުމަކަށް އެމީހަކު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް أمر ކުރުމެއްވެސް ނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން مسلم ން ކަމުގައިވެގެން ތިބުމަށްފަހު، كافر ވުމަށް އެމީހަކު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (ފަހެ) أمر ކުރާނެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

and assuredly we have variously propounded for mankind in this qur'an every kind of similitude, yet most men have refused everything except infidelity.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މި قرآن ގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ މީސްތަކުންނަށް ހުރިހާ ބާވަތަކުން مثال ބަޔާންކުރެއްވީމެވެ. ދެންވެސް މީސްތަކުންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެ، كافر ވުން މެނުވީ قبول އެއް ނުކުރޫއެވެ.

seek ye to question your apostle, even as musa was questioned afore. and whosoever changeth belief for infidelity, he hath of a surety strayed from the even way.
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! މީގެކުރިން موسى ގެފާނާ سؤال ކުރި ފަދައިން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ رسول އާއާ سؤال ކުރުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެދެނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ كافر ކަމަށް إيمان ކަން ބަދަލުކުރާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހާޔަށް ހަމަ މަގު ގެއްލިއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

o ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައިންބަފައިންނާއި، އެއްބަނޑުއެއްބަފާ މީހުން (ވިޔަސް) އެއުރެން إيمان ކަމަށްވުރެ ބޮޑަށް، كافر ކަމަށް ލޯބިކުރާނަމަ، އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އެހީތެރި، އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައި ނުހިފާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަކީ، އެހީތެރި އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަލާމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، ހަމަ، އަނިޔާވެރިންނެވެ.

and if they violate their oaths after their covenant and revile your religion, fight those leaders of infidelity-verily no oaths will hold in their case that haply they may desist.
އަދި އެއުރެން عهد ކުރުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެންގެ ހުވާތައް އުވާލައި، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދީނަށް عيب ބަސް ބުނެއުޅެނީނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން كافر ކަމުގެ ބޮޑުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހުވަޔަކީ، އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއްނޫނެވެ. (ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރަންވީ) އެއުރެން އެކަންތައް ހުއްޓާލާތޯއެވެ.

and when they come to you they say: we believe; whereas surely with infidelity they entered and surely with it they went forth. and allah is knower of that which they have been concealing.
އަދި އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: يهودى ންގެ ތެރެއިން منافق ން) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް އަތުވެއްޖެނަމަ، ތިމަންމެން إيمان ވެއްޖައީމުއޭ ބުނެތެވެ. އޭރު އެއުރެން (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއަށް) ވަދެ އެތިބީ كافر ކަމާއިގެންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ނުކުމެގެން ދިޔައީވެސް އެ كافر ކަމާއިގެންނެވެ. އެއުރެން ވަންހަނާކޮށް އުޅުނުކަންތައް، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގަތުން ބޮޑެވެ.

it is not for such as join gods with allah, to visit or maintain the mosques of allah while they witness against their own souls to infidelity. the works of such bear no fruit: in fire shall they dwell.
އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް كافر ކަމަށް ހެކިވެތިބި حال ގައި، اللَّه ގެ މިސްކިތްތައް ފަޅުފިލުވައި ބެލެހެއްޓުމަކީ، مشرك ންނަށް އޮތްކަމެއްނޫނެވެ. އެއުރެންނަކީ، އެއުރެންގެ عمل ތައް باطل ވެފައިވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި ހަމަ، އެއުރެންނީ، ނަރަކައިގައި ދެމިތިބޭނޭ ބަޔެކެވެ.

and let not those grieve thee who hasten toward infidelity; verily they shall not harm allah at all. allah desireth not to provide for them a portion in the hereafter; and theirs shall be a torment mighty.
كافر ވުމުގައި، އަވަސްވެގަންނަ މީހުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ހިތާމަވެރި ކުރުވިޔަ ނުދެއްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއްވެސްކަމަކުން އެއުރެންނަކަށް اللَّه އަށް ގެއްލުމެއް ނުދެވޭނެތެވެ. اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވަނީ، އެއުރެންނަށް آخرة ގައި އެއްވެސް نصيب އެއް ނުލެއްވުމަށެވެ. އަދި، އެއުރެންނަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

and know that verily among you is the apostle of allah. were he to obey you in many affairs, ye would surely be in trouble but allah hath endeared belief to you and hath made it fair-seeming in your hearts, and hath rendered detestable unto you infidelity and wickedness and disobedience.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރޭގައި اللَّه ގެ رسول އާ ހުންނެވިކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން ގިނަކަންތަކުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގެއްލުން ލިބިއްޖައީހެވެ. އަދި އެހެނެއްކަމަކު اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން إيمان ކަމަށް ލޯބިޖައްސަވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި އެ إيمان ކަން ޒީނަތްތެރިކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި كافر ކަމާއި، فاسق ކަމާއި، އުރެދުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުރުހުންތެރިކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ، ހަމަ ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުންނެވެ.
