they said: hast come to turn us away from our gods? then bring upon us that wherewith thou threatenest us, if thou art of the truthful.
އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަވަޑައިގަތީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންނަށް އަޅުކަން ކުރުމުން ތިމަންމެން ދުރުކުރެއްވުމަށްތޯއެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ތެދުވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިންވާނަމަ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ތިޔަ وعد ކުރައްވާކަންތައް ތިމަންމެންގެގާތަށް ގެންނަވައިބައްލަވާށެވެ!

they said: art thou come unto us that we should worship god alone and leave that which our fathers were wont to worship? bring thou then upon us that wherewith thou threatenest us if thou sayest sooth.
އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު އަހުރެމެންގެ ގާތަށް ތިޔަވަޑައިގަތީ، ހަމައެކަނި اللَّه އަށް އަހުރެމެން އަޅުކަން ކުރުމަށާއި، އަހުރެމެންގެ ކާބަފައިން އަޅުކަންކޮށް އުޅުނު ތަކެތި އަހުރެމެން ދޫކޮށްލުމަށް އެންގެވުމަށްތޯއެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނުވަނީ، ތެދުވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަމަށްވާނަމަ، ކަލޭގެފާނު އަހުރެމެންނަށް ތިޔަ وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަމެއް، އަހުރެމެން ގާތަށް ނިކަން ގެންނަވައި ބައްލަވާށެވެ!

they said: art thou come unto us that thou mayest turn us aside from our gods? then bring thou upon us that wherewith thou threatenest us, if thou art of the truth-tellers.
އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަވަޑައިގަތީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ إله ންނަށް އަޅުކަން ކުރުމުން ތިމަންމެން ދުރުކުރެއްވުމަށްތޯއެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ތެދުވެރިންގެ ތެރެއިންވާނަމަ، ތިމަންމެންނަށް ތިޔަ وعد ކުރައްވާކަންތައް ތިމަންމެންގެގާތަށް ގެންނަވައިބައްލަވާށެވެ!

so they hamstrung the she-camel, and they flouted the commandment of their lord, and they said: o salih! bring upon us that thou threatenest if thou art indeed of those sent (from allah).
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެ ޖަމަލު މަރައިލޫއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ އަމުރުފުޅަށް ނުކިޔަމަންތެރިވޫއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނޫއެވެ. އޭ صالح ގެފާނެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުވަނީ، رسول ންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަމަށްވާނަމަ، ކަލޭގެފާނު އަހުރެމެންނަށް ތިޔަ وعد ކުރައްވާ ކަމެއް (އެބަހީ: عذاب) އަހުރެމެންނަށް ނިކަން ގެންނަވައި ބައްލަވާށެވެ!
