and whoever is in the heavens and the earth makes obeisance to allah only, willingly and unwillingly, and their shadows too at morn and eve.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިޔަނިތައްވެސް، ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި، ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރު، اللَّه އަށް (ކިޔަމަންވެ) سجدة ކުރެތެވެ.

all who dwell in heavens and on the earth submit to god alone, willingly or unwillingly, as do their shadows in the mornings and in the evenings.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިޔަނިތައްވެސް، ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި، ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރު، اللَّه އަށް (ކިޔަމަންވެ) سجدة ކުރެތެވެ.

all who dwell in the heavens and earth shall prostrate themselves before allah, either willingly or unwillingly; as do their shadows in the mornings andevenings.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިޔަނިތައްވެސް، ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި، ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރު، اللَّه އަށް (ކިޔަމަންވެ) سجدة ކުރެތެވެ.

say, ‘spend willingly or unwillingly, it shall never be accepted from you; for you are indeed a transgressing lot.’
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރުހުމުގައި، ނުވަތަ ނުރުހުމުގައި ހޭދަކުރިޔަސް، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބަޔަކުން އެކަން قبول އެއް ނުކުރައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ. އެހެނީ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންވީ، فاسق ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

and their spending was not stopped being accepted, except because they disbelieved in allah and his noble messenger, and they come to prayer with heavy hearts, and they do not spend except unwillingly.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް كافر ވިކަމާއި، އެއުރެން ކަންނެތްބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިބެގެން މެނުވީ، ނަމާދަށް ނާންނަކަމާއި، ނުރުހިތިބި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވާ حال ގައި މެނުވީ، ހޭދަނުކުރާކަމާއި، މިކަންކަން ފިޔަވައި އެއުރެންގެ ހޭދަތައް އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން قبول ކުރެއްވުން މަނާކުރާކަމެއް ނެތެވެ.

do they seek a religion other than that of allah, while to him submits whoever there is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to him they will be brought back?
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކު ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި އެކަލާނގެޔަށް، ކިޔަމަންވެގެންވާއިރު، އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އެނބުރި ފުރަގަސްދިން މީހުން) އެ އެދެނީ اللَّه ގެ دين ފިޔަވައި އެހެން دين އެއް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި، އެއުރެން އެނބުރި رجوع ކުރައްވާހުށީ، އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

and unto allah (alone) falls in prostration whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and so do their shadows in the mornings and in the afternoons.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިޔަނިތައްވެސް، ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި، ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރު، اللَّه އަށް (ކިޔަމަންވެ) سجدة ކުރެތެވެ.

what, do they desire another religion than god's, and to him has surrendered whoso is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to him they shall be returned?
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކު ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި އެކަލާނގެޔަށް، ކިޔަމަންވެގެންވާއިރު، އެއުރެން (އެބަހީ: އެނބުރި ފުރަގަސްދިން މީހުން) އެ އެދެނީ اللَّه ގެ دين ފިޔަވައި އެހެން دين އެއް ހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި، އެއުރެން އެނބުރި رجوع ކުރައްވާހުށީ، އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

and force not your maids to prostitution, if they desire chastity, in order that you may make a gain in the (perishable) goods of this worldly life. but if anyone compels them (to prostitution), then after such compulsion, allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful (to those women, i.e. he will forgive them because they have been forced to do this evil action unwillingly).
އަދި ކާވެނިވުމުގެ މަގެއް ނުފެންނަ މީހުން عفة ތެރިވެ ތިބޭހުށިކަމެވެ! اللَّه، އެކަލާނގެ فضل ވަންތަކަމުގެ ތެރެއިން، އެއުރެން މުއްސަނދިކުރައްވައި، އެކަން ފުއްދަވައި ދެއްވައިފުމަށް ދާނދެނެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅުންގެ ތެރެއިން މިނިވަންވުމުގެ ލިޔުން އެދޭ މީހުންނާމެދު، (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެފަދަ ލިޔުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެމީހުންނަށް ލިޔެދޭށެވެ! އެއުރެންގެކިބައިން ހެޔޮގޮތެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގިއްޖެނަމައެވެ. އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވާފައިވާ اللَّه ގެ މުދަލުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއުރެންނަށްދޭށެވެ! އަދި އެކަނބަލުން عفة ތެރިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވެ ތިބުމަށް قصد ކޮށްގެން ތިބޭނަމަ، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމަށް ހޯދާ މުދަލެއް އެދިގަތުމުގެގޮތުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ޒުވާން އަންހެން އަޅުން، ޒިނޭކުރުމުގެ މައްޗަށް مجبور ނުކުރާށެވެ! އެކަނބަލުންނަށް، އެކަމަށް مجبور ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަނބަލުން مجبور ވެވުމަށްފަހު، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
