ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ބުނާ ބުނުމުން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅު ދަތިވާކަން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

do not grieve for them, and do not be upset by their guile.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ހިތާމަ ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެން މަކަރުހަދާ ކަންތަކުން ހިތްޕުޅު ދަތިވުމެއްގެ ތެރޭގައި ކަލޭގެފާނު ވެވަޑައި ނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and i will become upset and my tongue will fail me. so send for aaron [to join me].
އަދި (އެއުރެން ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ދޮގުކޮށްފާނެކަމަށް) ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅު ދަތިވެއެވެ. އަދި (ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އެދިވަޑައިގަންނަވާފަދަ ފަސޭހަކަމާއެކު) ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދޫފުޅެއް ނުހިނގައެވެ. ފަހެ، (ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނަށް ވާގިވެރިވުމަށް) هارون ގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް (وحى އާއިގެން جبريل ގެފާނު) ފޮނުއްވައި ދެއްވާށެވެ!

allah’s promise is indeed true. and do not let yourself be upset by those who have no conviction.
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ކެތްކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ وعد ފުޅަކީ حق ތެެދެވެ. އަދި إيمان ނުވާ މީހުން (ދައްކާ ވާހަކަތަކުން) ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކެތްތެރިކަން ކަނޑައިލިޔަ ނުދެއްވާށެވެ!

they had already desired dissension before and had upset matters for you until the truth came and the ordinance of allah appeared, while they were averse.
ކުރިންވެސް އެއުރެން ފިތުނަވެރިކަމަށް އެދިގެން އުޅުނުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ أمر ފުޅު ފާޅުވެ، حق ބަސްފުޅު އަތުވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، އެއުރެން (އެކަމަށް) ނުރުހޭ حال ގައި، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ކެހިދިނުމުގެ ކަންތައް އެއުރެން ރާވައި އުޅުނޫއެވެ.

men whom neither trafficking nor bargaining diverteth from the remembrance of allah and the establishment of the prayer and the giving of the poor-rate, fearing a day whereon upset will be the hearts and sights.
އެއީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ. (އެބަހީ: تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކޮށް އުޅެނީ ފިރިހެނުންތަކެކެވެ.) ވިޔަފާރިއެއް ނުވަތަ އެހެންއެއްވެސް ވިއްކުމެއް اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަކުޅައުމުންނާއި، ނަމާދު قائم ކުޅައުމުންނާއި، زكاة ދިނުމުން، އެއުރެން مشغول ކޮށް ދުރުކޮށެއް ނުލަތެވެ. އެދުވަހެއްގައި، ހިތްތަކާއި، ލޯތައް އެފުށްމިފުށަށް އެނބުރިއުޅޭ ދުވަހަށް، އެއުރެން ބިރުވެތިވެތެވެ.

do not ask about things, which, if they are disclosed to you, will upset you. yet if you ask about them while the quran is being sent down, they shall be disclosed to you.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެކަންކަން ފާޅުކުރައްވައިފިނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އުނދަގޫވެ، ނުރުހުންވާނޭ ކަންކަމާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން سؤال ނުކުރާށެވެ. އަދި قرآن ބާވައިލައްވާހިނދު އެކަންކަމާމެދު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން سؤال ކުރާނަމަ، އެކަންކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ފާޅުކުރައްވައިފާނެތެވެ. (އިސްވެގޮސްފައިވާ) سؤال ކުރުމުގެ ކުށް، اللَّه عفو ކުރައްވައިފިއެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ حليم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

indeed they had plotted sedition before, and upset matters for thee, until,- the truth arrived, and the decree of allah became manifest much to their disgust.
ކުރިންވެސް އެއުރެން ފިތުނަވެރިކަމަށް އެދިގެން އުޅުނުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ أمر ފުޅު ފާޅުވެ، حق ބަސްފުޅު އަތުވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، އެއުރެން (އެކަމަށް) ނުރުހޭ حال ގައި، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް ކެހިދިނުމުގެ ކަންތައް އެއުރެން ރާވައި އުޅުނޫއެވެ.

[look out] lest you should disregard aught of what has been revealed to you, and be upset because they say, ‘why has not a treasure been sent down to him, or [why does] not an angel accompany him?’ you are only a warner, and allah watches over all things.
ފަހެ، އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް خزانة އެއް ބާވައިނުލެއްވީ ކީއްވެހޭ، ނުވަތަ އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުގައި ملائكة އަކު ވަޑައިނުގަތީކީއްވެހޭ، އެއުރެން ބުނެފާނެކަމަށްޓަކައި، ކަލޭގެފާނަށް وحى ކުރައްވާ ތަކެތިން ބައެއް، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދޫކޮށްލައްވައިފާނެ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ (އެބަހީ: ދޫކޮށެއްނުލައްވާނެތެވެ.) އަދި އެ ތަކެތި ކިޔަވައި ވިދާޅުވުމުން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅު ދަތިވެސްވެދާނެތެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވާކަން ކަށަވަރީ، ބިރުވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދެއްވާ ބޭކަލަކު ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި اللَّه އީ، ހުރިހާ ތަކެއްޗެއް ރައްކާތެރިކުރައްވައި، ބަލަހައްޓަވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.
