but not so the worshippers
ނަމާދުކުރާ މީހުން މެނުވީއެވެ.

except the devoted amongst your worshippers.
އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން، އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެ އަޅުންކުރެ خيار ކުރައްވާފައިވާ މީހުން މެނުވީއެވެ.

nor will you be worshippers of what i worship.
އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އަޅުކަންކުރައްވާ حق ވަންތަ اللَّه އަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުއެވެ.

the idol worshippers, the idols, the rebellious ones,
އަދި އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، اللّّه ފިޔަވައި އަޅުކަން ކޮށްއުޅުނު ތަކެތި ކޮބައިހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެތަކެތި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް نصر ދޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެތަކެއްޗަށް نصر ލިބޭހެއްޔެވެ؟

herein, surely is a message for true worshippers.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅުކަންކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް ފުދޭވަރުގެ އެންގުމެއް، މީގައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

nor are ye the worshippers of that which i worship.
އަދި ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އަޅުކަންކުރައްވާ حق ވަންތަ اللَّه އަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުއެވެ.

they said: we found our fathers the worshippers thereof.
އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ކާބަފައިން، އެ ތަކެއްޗަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާތީ ތިމަންމެން ދުށީމުއެވެ.

verily in this in a preaching for a people who are worshippers.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅުކަންކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް ފުދޭވަރުގެ އެންގުމެއް، މީގައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening.
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް އަވަސްވެގަނެގެން އައޫއެވެ.

say thou: had the compassionate a son, shall be the first of his worshippers.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ދަރިކަލަކުވާނަމަ (އެ ދަރިކަލަކަށް) އެންމެފުރަތަމަ އަޅުކަންކުރާނެ މީހަކީ ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނެވެ.

then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him).
ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް އަވަސްވެގަނެގެން އައޫއެވެ.

ours is the dye of allah! and who is better at dyeing than allah! and we are his worshippers.
اللَّه ގެ دين އަށެވެ. (އެބަހީ: تبع ވާންވީ اللَّه ގެ دين އަށެވެ.) ހިދާޔަތާއި إرشاد ދެއްވުމުގައި اللَّه އަށްވުރެ މޮޅީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ތިމަންމެންނީ، ހަމައެކަނި އެކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ.

it is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms.
އެތަކެއްޗަކަށް އެއުރެންނަށް نصر ދިނުމަކަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ. އެތަކެއްޗަށް (خدمة ކުރުމުގައި) حاضر ކުރައްވާފައިވާ لشكر އެއް ކަމުގައި އެއުރެންވާ حال ގައެވެ.

(we take our) colour from allah, and who is better than allah at colouring. we are his worshippers.
اللَّه ގެ دين އަށެވެ. (އެބަހީ: تبع ވާންވީ اللَّه ގެ دين އަށެވެ.) ހިދާޔަތާއި إرشاد ދެއްވުމުގައި اللَّه އަށްވުރެ މޮޅީ ކާކުހެއްޔެވެ؟ އަދި ތިމަންމެންނީ، ހަމައެކަނި އެކަލާނގެއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ.

o believers, if you are true worshippers of allah alone, eat without hesitation of the good and clean things wherewith we have provided you and be grateful to allah.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި ރަނގަޅު ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަމައެކަނި اللَّه އަށް އަޅުކަންކުރާ ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ޝުކުރުވެރިވާށެވެ.

(people), consume the pure and lawful sustenance which god has given to you and thank god for his bounty if you are his true worshippers.
ފަހެ، اللَّه ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ރަނގަޅު حلال ތަކެތީގެ ގޮތުގައި ދެއްވި رزق ން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅޭށެވެ! އަދި اللَّه ގެ نعمة އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شكر ކުރާށެވެ! (އެއީ) ހަމައެކަނި، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަޅުކަންކުރާ ކަމުގައި ވާނަމައެވެ.

(it will be said to the true believers of islamic monotheism): my worshippers! no fear shall be on you this day, nor shall you grieve,
އޭ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް މިއަދު އެއްވެސް ބިރެއް ނެތެވެ. އަދި ހިތާމަކުރާނެ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައިވެސް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުވަމުއެވެ.
