49 - ويجدر التنويه بهذا الخصوص إلى أن الوفد التونسي الذي شارك في أعمال اللجنة الدولية للأخلاقيات الإحيائية التي جرت في مقر اليونسكو في الفترة من 23 إلى 27 حزيران/يونيه 2003، والذي ترأس اجتماع الخبراء الحكوميين الموكلين بصياغة مشروع الإعلان الدولي بشأن البيانات الوراثية البشرية، ناقش بصورة مستفيضة القاعدتين الأخلاقيتين المنصوص عليهما في مشروع القرار المشار إليه في مستهل التقرير، وقد استطاع الوفد صياغة مشروع إعلان توافقت بشأنه الآراء، وكان من المتوقع أن يُقره المؤتمر العام المعقود في أيلول/سبتمبر 2003.
49. in this regard, it should be pointed out that the tunisian delegation, that participated in the work of the international bioethics committee from 23 to 27 june 2003 at unesco and chaired the meeting of government experts responsible for finalizing the draft international declaration on human genetic data, considered at length the two ethical principles mentioned in the aforementioned draft resolution and was able to formulate a consensus draft declaration that was adopted by the general conference in september 2003.
