واما حزائيل ملك ارام فضايق اسرائيل كل ايام يهوآحاز.

ثم اضطجع يهوآحاز مع آبائه فدفنوه في السامرة وملك يوآش ابنه عوضا عنه
and jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in samaria: and joash his son reigned in his stead.

وتضرع يهوآحاز الى وجه الرب فسمع له الرب لانه رأى ضيق اسرائيل لان ملك ارام ضايقهم.
and jehoahaz besought the lord, and the lord hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of israel, because the king of syria oppressed them.

وعاش امصيا بن يوآش ملك يهوذا بعد وفاة يهوآش بن يهوآحاز ملك اسرائيل خمس عشرة سنة.
and amaziah the son of joash king of judah lived after the death of jehoash son of jehoahaz king of israel fifteen years.

حينئذ ارسل امصيا رسلا الى يهواش بن يهوآحاز بن ياهو ملك اسرائيل قائلا هلم نتراء مواجهة.
then amaziah sent messengers to jehoash, the son of jehoahaz son of jehu, king of israel, saying, come, let us look one another in the face.

فاستشار امصيا ملك يهوذا وارسل الى يواش بن يهوآحاز بن ياهو ملك اسرائيل قائلا هلم نتراء مواجهة.
then amaziah king of judah took advice, and sent to joash, the son of jehoahaz, the son of jehu, king of israel, saying, come, let us see one another in the face.

في السنة الثالثة والعشرين ليوآش بن اخزيا ملك يهوذا ملك يهوآحاز بن ياهو على اسرائيل في السامرة سبع عشرة سنة.
in the three and twentieth year of joash the son of ahaziah king of judah jehoahaz the son of jehu began to reign over israel in samaria, and reigned seventeen years.

فصعدوا الى يهوذا وافتتحوها وسبوا كل الاموال الموجودة في بيت الملك مع بنيه ونسائه ايضا ولم يبقى له ابن الا يهوآحاز اصغر بنيه.
and they came up into judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was never a son left him, save jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

فعاد يهوآش بن يهوآحاز واخذ المدن من يد بنهدد بن حزائيل التي اخذها من يد يهوآحاز ابيه بالحرب. ضربه يوآش ثلاث مرات واسترد مدن اسرائيل
and jehoash the son of jehoahaz took again out of the hand of ben-hadad the son of hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of jehoahaz his father by war. three times did joash beat him, and recovered the cities of israel.

واما امصيا ملك يهوذا ابن يواش بن يهوآحاز فامسكه يوآش ملك اسرائيل في بيت شمس وجاء به الى اورشليم وهدم سور اورشليم من باب افرايم الى باب الزاوية اربع مئة ذراع.
and joash the king of israel took amaziah king of judah, the son of joash, the son of jehoahaz, at beth-shemesh, and brought him to jerusalem, and brake down the wall of jerusalem from the gate of ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
