어 찌 그 러 하 뇨 이 는 저 희 가 믿 음 에 의 지 하 지 않 고 행 위 에 의 지 함 이 라 부 딪 힐 돌 에 부 딪 혔 느 니
wherefore? because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. for they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

그 런 즉 우 리 가 다 시 는 서 로 판 단 하 지 말 고 도 리 어 부 딪 힐 것 이 나 거 칠 것 으 로 형 제 앞 에 두 지 아 니 할 것 을 주 의 하
let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

듣 고 행 치 아 니 하 는 자 는 주 초 없 이 흙 위 에 집 지 은 사 람 과 같 으 니 탁 류 가 부 딪 히 매 집 이 곧 무 너 져 파 괴 됨 이 심 하 니 라' 하 시 니
but he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

and saith unto him, if thou be the son of god, cast thyself down: for it is written, he shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
