நீங்கள் வித்தியாசமானவர் என்று நினைத்தேன்

காதல் குறுகியது மறக்காதது நீண்டது

said moosa, “do not apprehend me upon my forgetting, and do not impose difficulty on me in my task.”
"நான் மறந்து விட்டதைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் என்னை(க் குற்றம்) பிடிக்க வேண்டாம்; இன்னும் என் காரியத்தைச் சிரமமுடையதாக ஆக்கி விடாதீர்கள்" என்று (மூஸா) கூறினார்.

and he walked into his garden, and, (forgetting) his limit, said: "i cannot imagine that this will ever be ruined,
(பெருமையினால்) தன் ஆத்மாவுக்குத் தீங்கிழைத்தவனாக தன் தோட்டத்திற்குள் நுழைந்தான்; அவன், "இந்த(த் தோட்டம்) எப்பொழுதாவது அழிந்துவிடும் என்று நான் எண்ணவில்லை" என்றும் கூறிக் கொண்டான்.

“therefore taste the recompense of your forgetting the confronting of this day of yours; we have abandoned you – now taste the everlasting punishment, the recompense of your deeds!”
ஆகவே, உங்களுடைய இந்த நாளின் சந்திப்பை நீங்கள் மறந்திருந்ததின் (பலனை) அனுபவியுங்கள், நிச்சயமாக நாமும் உங்களை மறந்து விட்டோம்; மேலும் நீங்கள் செய்த (தீ) வினையின் பயனாக என்றென்றும் நிலையான வேதனையை அனுபவியுங்கள்" (என்று அவர்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்படும்).

and who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his lord, but turns away from them forgetting what (deeds) his hands have sent forth. truly, we have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this (the quran), and in their ears, deafness. and if you (o muhammad saw) call them to guidance, even then they will never be guided.
எவன் தன் இறைவனுடைய வசனங்களைக் கொண்டு உபதேசிக்கப்பட்டும் அவற்றைப் புறக்கணித்துத் தன்னிரு கரங்களும் செய்த குற்றங்களை மறந்து விடுகிறானோ அவனை விடப் பெரிய அக்கிரமக்காரன் எவன் இருக்கின்றான்? நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களின் மீது, இதை விளங்கிக் கொள்ளாதவாறு திரைகளையும், அவர்களுடைய செவிகளில் செவிட்டுத்தனத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறோம்; ஆதலால் நீர் அவர்களை நேர்வழியின் பால் அழைத்தாலும், அவர்கள் ஒரு போதும் நேர்வழியடைய மாட்டார்கள்.
