농 부 들 이 종 들 을 잡 아 하 나 는 심 히 때 리 고 하 나 는 죽 이 고 하 나 는 돌 로 쳤 거
and the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

농 부 들 이 그 를 보 고 서 로 의 논 하 여 가 로 되 이 는 상 속 자 니 죽 이 고 그 유 업 을 우 리 의 것 으 로 만 들 자 하
but when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, this is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.

저 농 부 들 이 서 로 말 하 되 이 는 상 속 자 니 자, 죽 이 자 그 러 면 그 유 업 이 우 리 것 이 되 리 라 하
but those husbandmen said among themselves, this is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.

실로 현세는 유희와 오락에 불과하며 허식과 권세도 풍성한 재산과 자손도 그러하거늘 그것을비유하사 식물을 성장케 하여 농 부를 기쁘게 한 후 비가 내려 시 들어 누렇게 되고 메말라 부스러 지고 지푸라기가 된 것과 같더라 그러나 내세에서는 사악한 자들에게 가혹한 응벌이 있으되 하나님 께 헌신한 자 하나님의 관용과 기쁨을 받노라 실로 현세의 삶은 현흑된 향락에 불과하니라
know that the life of the world is but a play and a pastime, and an adornment and a self-glorification among you and vying in respect of riches and children; as the likeness of vegetation after rains whereof the growth pleaseth the husbandmen, then it withereth and thou seest it becoming yellow, then it becometh chaff. and in the hereafter there is both a grievous torment and forgiveness from allah and his pleasure, and the life of the world is but a vain bauble.

저 희 가 말 하 되 ` 이 악 한 자 들 을 진 멸 하 고 포 도 원 은 제 때 에 실 과 를 바 칠 만 한 다 른 농 부 들 에 게 세 로 줄 지 니 이 다
they say unto him, he will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

그 러 므 로 주 만 군 의 하 나 님 여 호 와 께 서 말 씀 하 시 기 를 사 람 이 모 든 광 장 에 서 울 겠 고 모 든 거 리 에 서 오 호 라, 오 호 라, 하 겠 으 며 농 부 를 불 러 다 가 애 곡 하 게 하 며 울 음 군 을 불 러 다 가 울 게 할 것 이
therefore the lord, the god of hosts, the lord, saith thus; wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

롯 이 나 가 서 그 딸 과 정 혼 한 사 위 들 에 게 고 하 여 이 르 되 ` 여 호 와 께 서 이 성 을 멸 하 실 터 이 니 너 희 는 일 어 나 이 곳 에 서 떠 나 라' 하 되 그 사 위 들 이 농 담 으 로 여 겼 더
and lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, up, get you out of this place; for the lord will destroy this city. but he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.
