எதைப்பற்றி உமக்கு(த் தீர்க்க) ஞானமில்லையோ அதை(ச் செய்யத்) தொடரவேண்டாம்; நிச்சயமாக (மறுமையில்) செவிப்புலனும், பார்வையும், இருதயமும் இவை ஒவ்வொன்றுமே (அதனதன் செயல் பற்றி) கேள்வி கேட்கப்படும்.

thereafter we raised up many a generation and a long time passed. you were then not even present among the people of midian to rehearse our verses to them. but it is we who are sending news about that.
எனினும் (அவர்களுக்குப் பின்) நாம் அநேக தலைமுறையினர்களை உண்டாக்கினோம்; அவர்கள்மீது காலங்கள் பல கடந்து விட்டன அன்றியும் நீர் மத்யன் வாசிகளிடம் வசிக்கவுமில்லை அவர்களுக்கு நம் வசனங்களை நீர் ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கவுமில்லை எனினும் நாம் தூதர்களை அனுப்பி வைப்போராகவே இருந்தோம்.

and verily, they shall bear their own loads, and other loads besides their own, and verily, they shall be questioned on the day of resurrection about that which they used to fabricate.
ஆனால் நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய (பளுவான பாவச்) சுமைகளையும், தம் (பளுவான பாவச்) சுமைகளுடன் (அவர்கள் வழிகெடுத்தோரின் பளுவான பாவச்) சுமைகளையும் சுமப்பார்கள்; கியாம நாளன்று அவர்கள் இட்டுக்கட்டிக் கொண்டிருந்தவை பற்றி நிச்சயமாக விசாரிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

ah! you are the very ones who argue about that of which you have knowledge. but why do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? and allah knows and you do not know.
உங்களுக்குச் சிறிது ஞானம் இருந்த விஷயங்களில் (இதுவரை) நீங்கள் தர்க்கம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; (அப்படியிருக்க) உங்களுக்குச் சிறிதுகூட ஞானம் இல்லாத விஷயங்களில் ஏன் விவாதம் செய்ய முற்படுகிறீர்கள்? அல்லாஹ்தான் அறிவான்; நீங்கள் அறியமாட்டீர்கள்.

behold! you are they who disputed about that of which you had knowledge; why then do you dispute about that of which you have no knowledge? and allah knows while you do not know.
உங்களுக்குச் சிறிது ஞானம் இருந்த விஷயங்களில் (இதுவரை) நீங்கள் தர்க்கம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; (அப்படியிருக்க) உங்களுக்குச் சிறிதுகூட ஞானம் இல்லாத விஷயங்களில் ஏன் விவாதம் செய்ய முற்படுகிறீர்கள்? அல்லாஹ்தான் அறிவான்; நீங்கள் அறியமாட்டீர்கள்.
