அன்றியும், "என்னை நீங்கள் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்லாதிருக்கும் பொருட்டு நான், என்னுடைய இறைவனும் உங்களுடைய இறைவனுமாகிய அவனிடமே நிச்சயமாகப் பாதுகாவல் தேடுகிறேன்.

and that when the servant of allah stood up calling upon him, they wellnigh crowded him (to death).
"மேலும், நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வின் அடியார் அவனைப் பிரார்த்தித்தவராக நின்றபோது, அவர்பால் அவர்கள் கூட்டம் கூட்டமாக (வந்து) நெருங்கிவிடுகின்றனர்."

and lo! i have sought refuge in my lord and your lord lest ye stone me to death.
அன்றியும், "என்னை நீங்கள் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்லாதிருக்கும் பொருட்டு நான், என்னுடைய இறைவனும் உங்களுடைய இறைவனுமாகிய அவனிடமே நிச்சயமாகப் பாதுகாவல் தேடுகிறேன்.

for surely if they prevail against you they would stone you to death or force you back to their religion, and then you will never succeed.
ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் உங்களை அறிந்து கொண்டால், உங்களைக் கல்லாலடித்துக் கொன்றுவிடுவார்கள்; அல்லது தங்களுடைய மார்க்கத்தில் உங்களை மீட்டி விடுவார்கள்; அப்புறம், நீங்கள் ஒருபோதும் வெற்றியடைய மாட்டீர்கள்" (என்றும் கூறினர்).

besides, they accuse me of a crime, and i fear that they may put me to death."

(நபியே!) அவர்கள் முஃமின்களாகாமல் இருப்பதற்காக (துக்கத்தால்) உம்மை நீரே அழித்துக்கொள்வீர் போலும்!

they disputed with you about the truth after that had become evident, as if they were being driven to death with their eyes wide open.
அவர்களுக்கு தெளிவான பின்னரும் சத்தியத்தில் அவர்கள் உம்முடன் விவாதம் செய்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போதே யாரோ அவர்களை மரணத்தின்பால் இழுத்துக் கொண்டு செல்வது போன்று (நினைக்கின்றார்கள்).

it is he indeed who sends you to death at night, and knows what you do in the day, then makes you rise with it again in order that the fixed term of life be fulfilled. then to him you will be returned when he will tell you what you did.
அவன் தான் இரவில் உங்களை மரிக்கச் செய்கிறான்; இன்னும் நீங்கள் பகலில் செய்தவற்றையெல்லாம் அறிகிறான்; மீண்டும் உங்களைக் குறிப்பிட்டதவணை முடிப்பதற்காக பகலில் எழுப்புகிறான்; பின்னர் உங்களுடைய (இறுதி) மீட்சி அவனிடமே இருக்கிறது அப்பால் நீங்கள் (இவ்வுலகில்) செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததை அவன் உங்களுக்கு அறிவிப்பான்.

pharaoh had exalted himself in the land and had divided its people into sects, one group he abased, putting their sons to death and sparing their women, for he was one of those who corrupted.
நிச்சயமாக ஃபிர்அவ்ன் இப்பூமியில் பெருமையடித்துக் கொண்டு, அந்த பூமியிலுள்ளவர்களைப் (பல) பிரிவினர்களாக்கி, அவர்களிலிருந்து ஒரு கூட்டத்தாரை பலஹீனப்படுத்தினான்; அவர்களுடைய ஆண் குழந்தைகளை அறுத்(துக் கொலை செய்)து பெண் குழந்தைகளை உயிருடன் விட்டும் வைத்தான்; நிச்சயமாக அவன் குழப்பம் செய்வோரில் ஒருவனாக இருந்தான்.

disputing with thee concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death and they (actually) saw it.
அவர்களுக்கு தெளிவான பின்னரும் சத்தியத்தில் அவர்கள் உம்முடன் விவாதம் செய்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போதே யாரோ அவர்களை மரணத்தின்பால் இழுத்துக் கொண்டு செல்வது போன்று (நினைக்கின்றார்கள்).

(o muhammad), if they do not believe in this message, you will perhaps torment yourself to death with grief, sorrowing over them.
(நபியே!) இந்த (வேத) அறிவிப்பில் அவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாவிட்டால், அவர்களுக்காக வியாகூலப்பட்டு, நீர் உம்மையே அழித்துக் கொள்வீர்கள் போலும்!

disputing with you concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death, while they were looking (at it).
அவர்களுக்கு தெளிவான பின்னரும் சத்தியத்தில் அவர்கள் உம்முடன் விவாதம் செய்கின்றனர்; அவர்கள் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போதே யாரோ அவர்களை மரணத்தின்பால் இழுத்துக் கொண்டு செல்வது போன்று (நினைக்கின்றார்கள்).

he said: "are you averse to my gods, o abraham? if you do not desist, i shall have you stoned to death. so go away for a while from me."
(அதற்கு அவர்) "இப்றாஹீமே! நீர் என் தெய்வங்களை புறக்கணிக்கிறீரா? நீர் (இதை விட்டும்) விலகிக் கொள்ளாவிட்டால் உம்மைக் கல்லெறிந்து கொல்வேன்; இனி நீர் என்னைவிட்டு நெடுங்காலத்திற்கு விலகிப் போய்விடும்" என்றார்.

"for if they come to know of you, they will stone you (to death or abuse and harm you) or turn you back to their religion, and in that case you will never be successful."
ஏனென்றால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் உங்களை அறிந்து கொண்டால், உங்களைக் கல்லாலடித்துக் கொன்றுவிடுவார்கள்; அல்லது தங்களுடைய மார்க்கத்தில் உங்களை மீட்டி விடுவார்கள்; அப்புறம், நீங்கள் ஒருபோதும் வெற்றியடைய மாட்டீர்கள்" (என்றும் கூறினர்).
