"(முன்னர் வானில் பேசப்படுவதைச்) செவிமடுப்பதற்காக (அதற்குள்ள சில) இடங்களில் நாங்கள் அமர்ந்திருப்போம்; ஆனால் இப்பொழுதோ எவன் அவ்வாறு செவிமடுக்க முயல்கிறானோ, அவன் தனக்காகக் காத்திருக்கும் தீப்பந்தத்தையே கண்பான்.

believers, do not make friends with those against whom allah is wrathful and who are despaired of the hereafter, as despaired as are the unbelievers lying in their graves.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ் எவர்கள் மீது கோபம் கொண்டிருக்கிறானோ, அந்தச் சமூகத்தாருடன் நேசம் சொள்ளாதீர்கள், ஏனெனில் மண்ணறை வாசிகளைப் பற்றி (எழுப்பப்பட மாட்டார்கள் என்று) நிராகரிப்போர் நம்பிக்கை இழந்தது போல், மறுமையைப் பற்றி, நிச்சயமாக இவர்களும் நம்பிக்கை இழந்து விட்டனர்.

on the day when the hour sets in, the guilty will swear that they had remained only for an hour. that is how they were used to lying [in the world].
அன்றியும், (நியாயத் தீர்ப்புக்குரிய) நாழிகை வரும் அந்நாளில் குற்றவாளிகள் தாங்கள் (இவ்வுலகில்) ஒரு நாழிகையே அன்றி (அதிக நேரம்) தங்கி இருக்க வில்லை என்று பிரமாணம் செய்வார்கள்; இவ்வாறு (இவ்வுலகிலும் உண்மையிலிருந்து) அவர்கள் திருப்பப்படுபவர்களாக இருந்தனர்.

believers! do not make friends with those who have incurred the wrath of god. such men are indeed bereft of all hope of a life to come, just as those who deny the truth lying in their graves are bereft of all hopes.
ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களே! அல்லாஹ் எவர்கள் மீது கோபம் கொண்டிருக்கிறானோ, அந்தச் சமூகத்தாருடன் நேசம் சொள்ளாதீர்கள், ஏனெனில் மண்ணறை வாசிகளைப் பற்றி (எழுப்பப்பட மாட்டார்கள் என்று) நிராகரிப்போர் நம்பிக்கை இழந்தது போல், மறுமையைப் பற்றி, நிச்சயமாக இவர்களும் நம்பிக்கை இழந்து விட்டனர்.
