jesus answered them, do ye now believe?

ኢየሱስ ግን። አባቴ እስከ ዛሬ ይሠራል እኔም ደግሞ እሠራለሁ ብሎ መለሰላቸው።
but jesus answered them, my father worketh hitherto, and i work.

ኢየሱስም መለሰላቸው፥ እንዲህ ሲል። የሰው ልጅ ይከብር ዘንድ ሰዓቱ ደርሶአል።
and jesus answered them, saying, the hour is come, that the son of man should be glorified.

እርሱ ግን። ያዳነኝ ያ ሰው። አልጋህን ተሸክመህ ሂድ አለኝ ብሎ መለሰላቸው።
he answered them, he that made me whole, the same said unto me, take up thy bed, and walk.

ኢየሱስም እንዲህ ብሎ መለሰላቸው። እኔ። አማልክት ናችሁ አልሁ ተብሎ በሕጋችሁ የተጻፈ አይደለምን?
jesus answered them, is it not written in your law, i said, ye are gods?

ኢየሱስ። ከአባቴ ብዙ መልካም ሥራ አሳየኋችሁ፤ ከእነርሱ ስለ ማናቸው ሥራ ትወግሩኛላችሁ? ብሎ መለሰላቸው።
jesus answered them, many good works have i shewed you from my father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

ኢየሱስም መለሰላቸው፥ እንዲህ ሲል። ነገርኋችሁ አታምኑምም እኔ በአባቴ ስም የማደርገው ሥራ ይህ ስለ እኔ ይመሰክራል፤
jesus answered them, i told you, and ye believed not: the works that i do in my father's name, they bear witness of me.

ከጻፎችም አንዱ ቀርቦ ሲከራከሩ ሰማና መልካም አድርጎ እንደ መለሰላቸው አስተውሎ። ከሁሉ ፊተኛይቱ ትእዛዝ ማናቸይቱ ናት? ብሎ ጠየቀው።
and one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, which is the first commandment of all?
