እነሆም፥ ነገርኋችሁ። በፍርሃትና በታላቅ ደስታም ፈጥነው ከመቃብር ሄዱ፥ ለደቀ መዛሙርቱም ሊያወሩ ሮጡ።
and they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

ነገር ግን ጊዜው ሲደርስ እኔ እንደ ነገርኋችሁ ታስቡ ዘንድ ይህን ተናግሬአችኋለሁ። ከእንናንተም ጋር ስለ ነበርሁ በመጀመሪያ ይህን አልነገርኋችሁም።
but these things have i told you, that when the time shall come, ye may remember that i told you of them. and these things i said not unto you at the beginning, because i was with you.

ኢየሱስም መለሰላቸው፥ እንዲህ ሲል። ነገርኋችሁ አታምኑምም እኔ በአባቴ ስም የማደርገው ሥራ ይህ ስለ እኔ ይመሰክራል፤
jesus answered them, i told you, and ye believed not: the works that i do in my father's name, they bear witness of me.

እርሱም መልሶ። አስቀድሜ ነገርኋችሁ አልሰማችሁምም፤ ስለ ምን ዳግመኛ ልትሰሙ ትወዳላችሁ? እናንተ ደግሞ ደቀ መዛሙርቱ ልትሆኑ ትወዳላችሁን? አላቸው።
he answered them, i have told you already, and ye did not hear: wherefore would ye hear it again? will ye also be his disciples?
